Spiritual Safety is far more Important than Physical Healing

When God began to open my eyes because I asked Him to reveal all that I was taught that wasn't true, He began showing me things that most Christians believe and preach that were opposite of what Christ taught. Now that I see them I can never unsee them again.
Isaiah 42:7
"To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house".
I am convinced these verses are speaking not only of physical experiences but are also pictures of Spiritual truths. Everything God tells us has Spiritual implications.
Christ said that born again believers would do greater things than He did. What could be greater than physically healing sick people, raising the dead and healing a withered hand? The greater thing that we will do is the spreading of the Gospel of Christ.
If we are informed with physical problems it does not compare to the wonder of passing from this world into heaven where we will not only be permanently healed but will also get new bodies that will never be sick again.
There is no greater blessing than trusting in Christ and realizing our citizenship is in heaven, where we will go when we leave behind this world full of its evils.
When we are born again we no longer look to this world, to being healed in our bodies and living a good life here, our focus is on Christ. He goes through with us in everything and we remain faithful to Him no matter the trials we must endure.
James 1:12
"Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him."
1 Peter 5:10
"And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you."
Romans 12:12
"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. "
James 1:2-8
"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind."

Forgiveness is not for the Unrepentant Heart

Forgiveness is not for the unrepentant but for those who confess their wrong and desire to do differently. God said;
Luke 17:3-4 "3Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to say, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”…"
There is a good reason God requires confession and forgiveness, two sides of the same coin, both must be present. The purpose is for a relationship to be restored and for the offender to change his behavior.
If we only "say", "I forgive" without any confession of the offense, then we are selfish and unlikely to remain in a relationship in which the offender doesn't think they did anything wrong.
There must be restoration for the relationship to become even stronger. To say we forgive but the relationship remains broken then nothing has happened of value, merely words and feelings that fall to the ground without anything good coming from it.
If we love people we are willing to wait for the confession and then willing to forgive when it comes.
The whole idea of forgiveness God's way has been almost entirely lost in a culture that cares more about feeling special themselves than they are willing to do the hard work of accountability for the sake of restoration.
Feelings over substance has dominated our world causing the evil to grow and the one who requires accountability to be judged and maligned.
The perpetrator of sin is further empowered to continue in sin and even become worse as there is no responsibility to change and grow emotionally and spiritually. Because of this even the offended who say they forgive remain emotional and spiritual children pretending forgiveness without any good result.
No one is willing to do the hard work of requiring repentance, that is a change of mind leading to a change in behavior, so that everyone becomes better and the relationship is restored.
Relationships in our day are neglected in favor of momentary emotional feelings that have little if any value.
When we do things God's way we grow, the offender grows and relationships are restored or ended based on the response of the offender. It is not on us when a broken relationship cannot be mended because the offender is not sorry and even continues their offense.
We are not required to forgive those who refuse to admit their fault and we are not required to remain in a relationship in which an offender remains in their sin.
1 John 3:9 says, "No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them".

No Greater Teacher than Jesus Christ

Transubstantiation is cannibalism of the heart. Those who have bought into the idea that the wafer host, body and blood of Christ in the Catholic teaching actually turns into the real body and blood of Christ have no Biblical evidence that this is the case.
The reason this church system calls the wafer for communion, "the host" is because they believe that substance is turned into Christ, it is hosting the body of Christ, in their own minds.
They use the scripture "this is my body and this is my blood" to justify the belief that the emblems they call the host, becomes the real body and blood of Christ. And, very sadly the priests are the ones who change the host into Christ by their incantations and prayers. They believe it is a miracle even though there is no evidence any miracle occurred. The "host" still looks like a little round wafer and it melts in ones mouth as food would. Those taking it believe it is a sin to chew the wafer. None of this has any basis in Scripture.
Christ said these things:
The Bible verse John 14:6 "I am the way (path, road), and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"
We know Christ is not a road but He used this analogy to show which way we should all go, and that is to follow Him.
The Bible verse "I am the door" is John 10:9, which reads, "I am the door; if anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture".
We know Christ is not a physical door, He is the Spiritual door to salvation.
1 John 10:11 "11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep."
The analogy of being a Shepherd is one of a protector over His flock. Christ never was a shepherd of sheep but we are referred to as His sheep.
John 6:35: "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst"
We know Christ is not a loaf of bread, this analogy pertains to the most necessary activity of all as believers which is to feed our minds on His Word and meditate on His desires for us. WE also know that we continue to be hungry and thirsty as long as we are here on this earth in the flesh. Christ's analogy pertains to a Spiritual hunger and thirst after righteousness and His truth.
John 15:1 "1“I am the TRUE vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. "
We know Christ is not a literal vine but that He is the source of life for the branches, those who have been born again.
There are many other such statements in the Bible that use physical examples of Spiritual concepts.
God makes it clear in His Word when He is telling an event that happened or when He is using examples from life to demonstrate a spiritual principle. When we seek the Holy Spirit for the meaning and purpose of the Scriptures as we read we will see the difference.
It is astounding to me how many times I see people of any denomination or cultic religion use a portion of scripture as evidence of their belief system and leave out all the other evidence that proves their assertions wrong and even devilish to fool those who do not read their Bibles with the help of the Holy Spirit.
This is what happens when mankind ignores God and makes up their own doctrines influenced by the thoughts the devil places in their minds.
Sadly many Christian churches are doing this very thing with many of their doctrines passed down to them from traditions of men and will stick to them like gum on someone's shoe fearful that if they seek God they will be rejected by family and other church attendees. This is the reason there are more pretenders in the church than there are authentic believers.
Far too many things are done because of traditions of men and out of fear than they hold true to God's Word.
Mark 7:7-13
"7 And in vain do they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
8 Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men.”
9 He was also saying to them, “You are experts at setting aside the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition.
10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘The one who speaks evil of father or mother, is certainly to be put to death’;
11 but you say, ‘If a person says to his father or his mother, whatever I have that would help you is Corban (that is, given to God),’
12 you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother;
13 thereby invalidating the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down, and you do many things such as that.”
My advice to believers is to question everything you were taught, taking it to the Lord Jesus Christ with the willingness to reject everything you were taught that does not align with the Bible.
It is the Holy Spirit Who will tell the truth if you truly want to know. People will base their opinions on what they are familiar with and what makes them feel comfortable.
Christ will tell you the truth and you will be at peace when you are no longer in bondage to man's acceptance of you.
John 14:42-43 "42 Nevertheless, many of the leaders believed in Him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, for fear that they would be put out of the synagogue. 43 For they loved praise from men more than praise from God."
Do not be one who is in bondage to what man thinks or wants, free yourself by consulting with the Holy Spirit on all things all the time. There is no greater teacher than Jesus Christ.
