Yes, Sending Someone to Hell is an Act of Hatred

Hell is an act of hatred toward sin and those who are indwelt by sin. One cannot separate the man from his sin. Man is what he does, says and believes. We are not able to do, say or believe something that is not in our character.

Isaiah 59:1-3 "1Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear. 2But your iniquities have built barriers between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He will not hear. 3For your hands are stained with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue mutters injustice.…"

Isaiah 1:15
"When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide My eyes from you; even though you multiply your prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood."

Psalm 26:4-6 "…4I do not sit with deceitful men, nor keep company with hypocrites. 5I hate the mob of evildoers and refuse to sit with the wicked. 6I wash my hands in innocence that I may go about Your altar, O LORD,…"

Micah 3:4
"Then they will cry out to the LORD, but He will not answer them. At that time He will hide His face from them because of the evil they have done."

God does not hide His face from those He loves. But He does hide from those who have rejected Him.

Psalm 27:8-10 "…8 My heart said, “Seek His face.” Your face, O LORD, I will seek. 9 Hide not Your face from me, nor turn away Your servant in anger. You have been my helper; do not leave me or forsake me, the God of my salvation. 10 Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me."

Written for Israel but applicable for born again believers today. We do not have the promises for Israel as Gentiles, but we do know that the character of God remains the same for all those who love Him. All things were not written to us but all things were written for us, for our learning to discern the character of God and how He operates.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
