Warnings are Love not Harshness

Today someone thought I was harsh in saying that God has more discipline in store for this country and the world. Here was my response below:

God is going to send people to hell for eternity to burn for their rejection of Him.

God promises in the end times that those who will not trust in Christ will go through the worse tribulation ever imaginable. He mercy is for those who are repentant, not for the unrepentant. Noting I could say would be harsher than what God will do to those who reject Him.

John 12:48
The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.

Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 25:46
And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Revelation 20:15
And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

2 Thessalonians 1:9
They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

Here are only a few warnings from God about the ones who reject God's truth and Christ.

Is it mean or harsh to warn a child not to get to close to the fire because it might burn them?

His Principles and Character Do Not Change

I am convinced that the trials for us are coming more and deeper because we are still winning about this discipline. When the winning stops the lesson will be learned and the humility will begin. Then perhaps the discipline will also end.

Accepting God's will for us in times when we have no control over our environment is the real demonstration in faith that God knows what He is doing and why.

Yes, there are injustices being done, foolishness abounds, but our response to it shows us why this is all needed. There needs to be a breaking of the will of a proud nation.

Jeremiah 50:31-32 "…31“Behold, I am against you, O arrogant one,” declares the Lord GOD of Hosts, “for your day has come, the time when I will punish you. 32The arrogant one will stumble and fall with no one to pick him up. And I will kindle a fire in his cities to consume all those around him.”'

This passage was written to Isreal in times past but God still operates this way today, His principles and His character do not change.

Think about it!!!!

Reactions Don't Matter Only Truth

God made it very clear to me when I began Facebook that I am not to do anything that takes into account the reactions of others. Truth is truth and must be said. If I worry about others liking me then I cannot remain faithful to Christ. People are rebellious now more than ever before, we need truth not coddling.

We need repentance for the unbeliever and confession for the believer.

We need to face our flaws, our stubbornness, and our self-righteousness head-on, call it sin, and confess it to be cleansed.

1 John 1:9
"9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

The good news is that if we confess the sin God exposes in our hearts we will be cleansed. Those in bondage to pride who can never say they are wrong or admit their flaws will be in defiance of God.

Did you know that God is working to expose hearts right now in this pandemic mess? This discipline of our country and the world at this time came from God and has a purpose. God is using evil men to afflict us to show us our own hearts.

If anger and angst come out during this time it is clear that there is pride and much more work to do in us.

Proverbs 11:2
"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom."

Proverbs 16:18
"Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall."

Proverbs 29:23
"One's pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor."

Proverbs 8:13
"The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate."

1 John 2:16
"For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world."

There are many strange and ridiculous actions being taken on the part of those in power at this time. God has given us the leaders we deserve, pompous, self-righteous who disregard the people. So what!!!! This is how most people are acting, God gave us leaders who reflect our own miserable attitudes.

The shame of our nation is that many are begging God to return the nation back to its previous state, but that state was not better than now, it only appeared that way.

People clamored after wealth, safety, and pleasures, not after Christ. Most of the "Christians" in this nation are more concerned about preserving their way of life than they are about glorifying God.

Isaiah 1:14-16 "…14 I hate your New Moons and your appointed feasts. They have become a burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them. 15 When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide My eyes from you; even though you multiply your prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood. 16 Wash and cleanse yourselves. Remove your evil deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil!…"

Proverbs 6:16-19
"There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers."

This passage in Proverbs describes perfectly the tenor of our nation and the world. We have no right to anything other than the discipline we are enduring at this time, even as mild as it is. But count on it, those who refuse to confess their sin will experience much worse.

Psalm 11:5
"The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence."

James 3:13-18
"Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. ...

The End of the End is Here

Brothers and Sisters I hope that everyone will keep in mind that the deception of the antichrist is here with us now even though he has not yet been revealed to us.

Never place your hope or trust in ANY political or religious leader. NO ONE in the world today as a leader is worthy of our trust.

We are living in VERY deceptive times when it is easy to get caught up in what the leaders tell us without knowing exactly what they are doing that we cannot see.

The politicians and the media are extremely clever at saying things that sound and look good but are deceptions.

Galatians 6:7-8
"Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life."

If our trust is in any man we are in danger of being deceived. We are living in the last of the last days, nearly everything we see and hear will be some kind of deception. Most people will be deceived themselves by all that is going on around them.

Matthew 24:23-25 "…23 At that time, if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders that would deceive even the elect if that were possible. 25 See, I have told you in advance.…"

The final deception will be when the antichrist steps forward to declare he is Christ. Sadly many who say they are Christians will fall in with him because they don't know their Bibles and they do not have the discernment that warns them of the deception.

If you don't believe me just watch the mega-churches today in which many thousands of people clamor to hear false preachers and liars because they like their flattery and promises of wealth and health. These are the same promises that the antichrist will bring except on steroids.

The antichrist will promise prosperity to all his followers, he will do lying wonders and false miracles and those who follow men will fall right in with him. He will claim to do wondrous things that make the people feel "secure", "hopeful about their comfort and freedom", but it is a ruse to gain followers. Then after a period of time, he will unleash on the world the most miserable time the world has ever seen. It's called in modern language "the sweet/mean cycle. Sucking in many people to pledge their allegiance to him and then release literally the devils upon everyone.

The world is already primed through the prosperity preachers and lying politicians to accept this sweet cycle that manipulates the feelings of many. People love to follow any man who will promise them things they like to hear.

Before reading in Revelation the things that are to come, ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten you to understand. It's not hard to understand, it's only hard for many to believe what they read.

Read chapter 13 of Revelation and see the great deception.

Read the entire book of Revelation to see how these end times play out, you might recognize some things in there that are happening right now.

Hallelujah for the wisdom that God can give every believer who wants to know.

Religion or Christ?

Religion says; "do this do that so you can feel good about yourself."

A born again believer loves to do good because they love to please God and because they love people.

Religion or Christ?

Just recently I was told by a dear Christian lady that she remembers hearing from Christians a generation ago that "Christianity" was a private matter.

I also heard this from my mother when I was a young believer. I desired to speak to her about spiritual matters and was shut down as though I was being rude.

My mother spent every week in the church building but never spoke to me about the Lord except on a couple of occasions when she perceived God had done a miracle for her in their finances.

As I grew in the Lord after becoming born again I realized that our entire culture growing up was moral for the most part, based on decency and rules that kept society acting in civil manners but lacked the desire to share with anyone else the gospel.

Many people gave money to missions but had no desire to be a missionary in their own country among their own families. In fact, the church-going families were very silent about the gospel if they even knew what it was. When "religion" becomes about traditions and morals but not about Christ, society loses its way.

I never heard any Christian speak of the Holy Spirit that lives in them. I never heard anyone even speak of Him at all except the preacher in the pulpits.

The wrong belief that a gathering should be hiring a one-man pastor caused the people to rely entirely on that one man, after all, it was his chosen job. The men and women sat in the pews like an audience watching a performance rather than participants in worship.

What was missing in the Christians when I was a child was fervency about Christ and testimonies of His principles. Very few Christians who attended churches every week talked about Christ outside their gathering buildings.

Often we didn't even know who was a Christian or not unless someone asked: "Which church do you attend."

As I grew in the Lord I realized that Christianity in America was more of a "social expectancy" that demonstrated a decent life rather than a dedication to Christ Himself. When I realized this I began also to realize why the country has gone the way it has, to the depth of depravity without conviction of sin.

People went to church because it was the "decent thing to do" and not because they had an abiding love for Jesus Christ.

John 15:4
"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me."

John 8:31
"So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;"

Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
