You've Gotta Love Millennials - Micah Tyler

Christ in us is Our Focus

People often will believe what they want even if they hear our side. God knows the truth and He is the only One Who matters.

The Opened Eyes

When God has opened the eyes of those who wish to know His truth, those eyes can never be closed again.

Luke 24:30-32 "…30 While He was reclining at the table with them, He took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus— and He disappeared from their sight. 32 They asked one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us as He spoke with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”…"

There are many people who have chosen to follow a religion but their eyes remain blinded. They follow rules, they follow rituals but it is men they follow and not Christ.

Psalm 118:8
"It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man."

Jeremiah 17:5
"Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord."

Psalm 118:8-9
"It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes."

Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

Those who trust their preachers, their husband, their wife and even others will remain blind until they trust in Christ alone.

John 15:4
"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me."

In these last days of apostasy and spiritual rebellion there will be more people who are wrong than who are right. When we find those who love the Lord with all their heart they will be treasures to cherish. These are the people who will encourage us to keep on trusting in Christ.

Matthew 7:14
"For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."

Colossians 3:23
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,"
