Growing or Regressing Which are You Doing

We grow in holiness in direct proportions to the amount of time we seek Christ, through His Word and Prayer.

We cannot expect to grow if we cannot admit our failings. Confession is the open gate to progress in our walk.

1 John 1:9
"9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Those who refuse to confess will not grow and they will also not remain stagnant, they WILL regress.

Nothing stands still, it either moves forward or backward.

Which direction should we want to go?

See You At the Marriage Supper of the Lamb

Facebook is a strange animal. There can be misunderstandings about attitude, someone may be joking and someone else will think they are being mocked.

Since many of us haven't met in person, our personalities don't come out clearly. It is possible that many people interpret what we say more in terms of their own feelings at the time rather than what was really meant.

Those with anger in their hearts are easily offended by benign comments, while others who are calm and accepting, will enjoy the very thing others are offended about. It is fascinating to watch.

Part of good communication is not only the writing or speaking but in the body language and facial expressions. So much can be learned from the body language and tones of voice, things we can't see on facebook.

This is why I like to ask "what did you mean when you said...umpty ump.

Some people type in all caps, they just like caps, but others seeing it may think the one who types in caps is shouting at them. LOL

Perhaps we could cut one another a little slack to allow for personalities.

One thing for sure, I have found lots of people on facebook who don't take things personally, they seem to be able to read the words and get the message even without the voice tones and expressions in the face. I appreciate these people, I tend to think they are not offended by very much because they interpret what is said in light of their own mild tempered attitudes.

I have to say, I have been richly blessed by my facebook friends, especially the ones who interact with my posts and welcome my interaction on theirs. It's like a virtual game, say your thoughts and glean from the thoughts of others. And most of all, we can share important matters of life and Scriptures.

It is a blessing to be able to connect in this way, a way that never occurred to me 30 years ago when none of us had this ability. I know this may be hard to believe but I have had more good fellowship on facebook with friends I have never met in person than I ever did in most churches we have attended.

I praise God for the blessing of the internet and look forward to seeing you all in heaven at the marriage supper of the Lamb!!!!!

Romans 19:6-9
"6 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
the Almighty reigns.
7 Let us rejoice and exult
and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and his Bride has made herself ready;
8 it was granted her to clothe herself
with fine linen, bright and pure”—
for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
9 And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”"

Hallelujah!!!!!!
