The Wisest Man in the World was Rejected

The wisest man in the world can come and tell you marvelous things but because you hate Him you will mock what he says. If you don't believe me take a look at the life of Jesus Christ.
Some of us have experienced this, those who don't like your message will attempt to make others believe you do and say everything wrong all the time. They will find no good in you no matter how much you serve and love them..
There was no one on earth as wise and kind, full of justice and self-sacrifice than He, and yet He was killed because the people didn't like Him. They hated to be told they needed a Savior. They hated to be shown their own sin and weaknesses through the gospel message. And, people still are like this today, do not be astonished or ashamed when they attack and malign you, rather rejoice.
John 15:18-20 "18 “If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.
19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.
20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they followed My word, they will follow yours also. "
Matthew 5:11-13 "…11 Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you. 13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its savor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.…"
Hear that!!! Rejoice when this happens. We can only rejoice when persecuted if we have nothing left of self in us .
John 3:30-31 "30 He must increase; I must decrease. 31 The One who comes from above is above all. The one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks as one from the earth. The One who comes from heaven is above all.…"

Tears the Great Cleanser for the Body

Refusing to shed tears does not make someone tough, it makes them weaker. Allowing God's stress reliever to flow cleanses those who are hurting.
Luke 19:41
"As Jesus approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He wept over it"
John 11:33
"When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,"
Genesis 43:30
"And Joseph made haste; for his bowels did yearn upon his brother: and he sought where to weep; and he entered into his chamber, and wept there."
Psalm 126:5
"Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy!"
Revelation 7:17
"For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”"
Notice that Christ was grieved along with those who grieved. Empathy is a big part of the Christian experience. We cannot live the Christlike life without it.

Weeping Releases the Stress, Cry Until you can't anymore, you will go to sleep and wake up with a new perspective.

The only reason we would get mad at someone for disagreeing with us is that we are not sure of our own beliefs. When we are sure we are not intimidated by disagreement.
SO....."Keep calm and carry on" as the British used to say in World War 2 hit so devastatingly. It's o.k. to cry while you are forging through. Weeping is God's release valve for our tired worn-out bodies.
Psalm 30:5
"For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning."
See!!! Stress reliever!

Getting Back to the Bible

I don't know why but I feel more led these days to encourage believers to get back to the Bible in obedience than anything else.
Perhaps we are coming to the end of the age and few are left who will trust in Christ?
2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."
Matthew 24:37-39
"37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

Two Prodigal Sons in One Family

In the account of the prodigal son in the Bible, most people think there was only one prodigal in that family who left and spent his wealth on himself, but there were really two prodigals in that family. The one who left and the one who stayed.
Let's not forget the son who stayed with his father but was disrespectful to him. He stayed because it was a benefit to himself and not to honor the father or he would have gone to the celebration for the other son as his father requested. There were actually two prodigals in that family.
Luke 15:11-32
Obedience reluctantly is not obedience. Obedience with a right heart pleases God.
Proverbs 23:7
"For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. "Eat and drink!" he says to you, But his heart is not with you."
Matthew 15:7-9 "…7 You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: 8‘ These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’ ”…"
Our lips and our actions may appear to be right but if there is an ulterior motive of self-protection rather than love for God then there is deceptiveness. Manipulation of the feelings of others to gain something for ourselves is a sin.
Many people in our culture are not honest, they spend their lives attempting to impress others but have little concern about pleasing God.
We know them by their fruit, they are rude and mean to those they think are beneath them and all smiles and flattery to those they wish to impress who they think are popular or important people. They are quite easy to spot if you have ever been a scapegoat, the one who was treated disrespectfully by those who want to control us.
We are given these stories in the Bible to show us that just because someone is obeying their Father does not mean they have a right heart.
Proverbs 15:1-33
"A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouths of fools pour out folly. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. A fool despises his father's instruction, but whoever heeds reproof is prudent."

The Disinformation of the Alternative News Media

I don't believe the vaccine changes DNA, no one has been able to tell me what this looks like. Does our face change shape, do we suddenly grow a different style of body, are we smarter or dumber than we were before? None of this makes any sense.
DNA is in every cell of our body, it cannot be changed by a foreign substance. In fact, when our hand gets a sliver it does not change our structure, the body festers and expels it.
If everyone who believes this would just take a step back from media and ask God, I think they might realize how much false news is out there.
I would like to see one person whose personality has drastically changed because of the vaccine.
Also, the "natural immunity" so many people are talking about after having the virus, does not last a lifetime, it only lasts 90 days. A lot of people are walking around thinking they can never get the virus again because they had it once.
There is far more disinformation on the internet by these alternative news sources that there is hardly any truth left. I have been warning people but most will not do the research on both sides to see it.
Disinformation is information that has been deliberately altered to control others and is untrue. It is happening hot and heavy now on both sides. It's everywhere all the time and unstoppable.
Matthew 24:24 "For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
This passage in Matthew is speaking of liars in the pulpits as well as self-proclaimed prophets. However, it is applicable to all the lies coming on us every day. We MUST ask God to show us the truth.
This vaccine and virus news is dividing believers. I have never seen so much fighting and arguing over a silly virus and its preventatives, whether natural or medical. We must stop obsessing over a virus, a vaccine, and a mask and begin to allow everyone to make their own choice without being harassed.
Just because we think we are right doesn't give us the right to be rude and mean to those who might disagree.
We are to love our brothers and sisters not harang them for not thinking the way we do about something that God never said was a sin.
Ask the Holy Spirit what He wants you to do and leave others alone about it. We are adults we can make rational decisions different from others and still love one another. And, above all the believers have the Holy Spirit, He can tell each one who asks what they need to know.
We are commanded to love our brothers and sisters, no command is given to monitor their food or their medical decisions. Informing someone because we love them is different from judging them as foolish or harassing them regularly about their decision. I say all this in love, hoping our focus will go back to Christ and that all the arguing, fighting and demeaning will cease.
Satan loves this, he places fear in the hearts of believers causing them to panic over things they need not panic over if they will just seek Christ.
May we place the love of Christ above these things that divide the body.
John 13:34–35
"A new commandment I give to you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples if you have love one to another."
The world is watching the church, are we showing them how calm and loving we are? Or, are we showing them we have nothing different from them, the same fear, the anger and the pridefulness?
Just some thoughts.

Obedience is not Legalism

Those who do not want to obey God His way will always call every principle and rule "legalism."
Legalism is obeying rules God never made and demanding others do it too. Obedience is obeying Christ's principles merely because He told us to. We don't always understand His ways but we obey them because He is God and knows all things.
To trust in ourselves or any other man is foolishness and willfulness.
Psalm 45:2-4 "…2 I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. 3 Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save. 4 When his spirit departs, he returns to the ground; on that very day his plans perish."
Psalms 118:8 - "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."
Isaiah 31:1 - "Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!"
Proverbs 3:5
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding."
Those who trust in their own cleverness are foolish, they think they know all that is needed to know to be able to make a decision. These people are frustrated all the time because many things they desire do not work out because they are not God's will for them.
When things do not work out the way we hope, as born-again believers we do not fret because we know God knows what must occur for our own good and for His glory.
Hallelujah.....He knows best all the time.

Seeking the Holy Spirit in all Things

In these last days, the devil will attempt to bait you through the rudeness of the culture. Don't take the bait.
Attempting to teach rude people through expressing your dismay or lecturing them only brings fighting and trouble, the very thing the devil wants to happen.
For an honest forthright person it is sometimes difficult to remain silent when someone is acting rudely, but know that it is God's will not to throw our pearls in front of swine.
Swine are people who refuse to hear you and love that you are frustrated and will use your comments to start an even bigger fight. They love to mock and demean for the purpose of watching you squirm. Its best to learn to remain silent and chuckle a little inside as they make fools of themselves.
Proverbs 18:2
"A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion."
Proverbs 1:7
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction."
Proverbs 29:9
"If a wise man has an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs, and there is no quiet."
The problem of rudeness has increased dramatically in these last days in which "self-esteem" has been taught in schools and churches.
Many people in the culture I come from and live in now think that their rudeness is just normal conversation but is peppered heavily with pride, self-righteousness, and the inability to discuss anything at length unless it elevates them in some way.
I rarely hear people asking the views of others or responding when mildly challenged to think differently from the way they were taught.
Many conversations are so superficial and even silly that when anyone attempts to talk about something deeper they are ignored, mocked, and even gossiped about for their desire to discuss more important matters.
Our world is a very difficult place for those who love to ponder and discuss spiritual matters.
Has anyone else noticed that discussions about the Holy Spirit never seem to come up in churches anymore? Even though the Holy Spirit is the very essence of life for the born-again believer, He is ignored in the churches and in conversation.
Often I have spoken of the Holy Spirit as the source of our instruction, wisdom, and even correction to remain faithful to the ways of God but am treated as though I have spoken nonsense. I notice too that often the people I speak to about Him act as though I am using the Holy Spirit as a "copout" as though it is an excuse to ignore man's ways.
My experience has been more angst and demeaning over the subject of the Holy Spirit than love and support.
As soon as I say we should seek the Holy Spirit for our wisdom I see glazed-over eyes, disinterest, and excuses to exit the conversation.
When I say we should trust the Holy Spirit, the next words out of the hearer's mouth are ways we can humanly do something. They treat the Holy Spirit as though they don't really believe in Him.
Proverbs 28:26
"Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered."
Proverbs 10:23
"Doing wrong is like a joke to a fool, but wisdom is pleasure to a man of understanding."
John 14:26
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you."
It is no wonder why so many "Christians" are indifferent to the Holy Spirit when they do not believe in Him enough to seek Him and obey when He speaks. I am convinced the Holy Spirit has gone silent in the lives of most Christians because they don't want to hear from Him.
Romans 8:26 E
"Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words."
Galatians 5:22-23
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
There is no way we could ingore or diminish the Holy Spirit if we believe what the Bible, what God says about Him.
1 Corinthians 6:19
"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,"
The Holy Spirit should be everything in our lives. He should be the One we seek first about everything. He should be the One we want to speak through us and to us continually.
John 14:15-17
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you."
If we are not led by the Holy Spirit we are led by the flesh.
Galatians 5:15-17 "15 But if you keep on biting and devouring one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another. 16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. "
The more we seek the Holy Spirit the more we seek the Holy Spirit. It becomes a practice that we do every day for all things when we have formed a habit He will come instantly to mind without having to try because you love Him so much, more than anything or anyone else.
Romans 8:4
"so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit."
May the Holy Spirit rule in you all the time.
