Grieved at Those Leaving Christ to Join Cults

I am grieved at how many people are leaving the apostate church to join the Catholic church. Basically, they are leaving the frying pan to jump into the fire.
The apostasy is so widespread right now that it is difficult to find believers who are authentically born again and dedicated to the Word of God.
Those who are dedicated to Christ are the ones who realize that Jesus Christ is the Word, He is the Author of the entire Bible and means every Word He ordered to be written.
Those who are leaving protestant churches to join the Catholic church could only do this if they have never been born again. The Holy Spirit would warn those who were being enticed to join this cult.
Those who believe the Catholic church is not a cult might want to take a look at what makes an organization a cult.
First trait of a cult is that it has a hierarchy that the people bow to as though they were between them and God.
Second trait are the unbiblical rules and rituals that are required to be seen as loyal to the cult.
Thirdly, a cult always uses manipulation and guilt to keep the people following their human rules that God never commanded.
Fourth a cult adheres to their organization not the Bible. I cannot count the number of times I asked a Catholic if they were born again and the answer came back; "I am Catholic." They had no concept of what it means to be changed by Christ and sealed with His Holy Spirit.
Many times, having been around a lot of Catholics in my life, I have seen them look at me sideways and even become angry when I mentioned the work of the Holy Spirit in a believer's life.
One Catholic even told me I thought I was "holier than thou" because I knew I was going to heaven. This idea that we can know we are saved upsets Catholics, they think it is pride because they don't know if they are going to make it. They also laugh at me when I call myself a saint. Because in their system only the Catholic church decides who is a saint basing their decision on false miracles. The only people who can be made saints in the Catholic church are those who are already dead.
1 John 5:13 "
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life."
1 Corinthians 1:2
"To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:"
Ephesians 1:1
"Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus:"
Philippians 1:1
"Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers and deacons:"
The Catholic religion teaches that the pope is infallible when speaking of the things of God but not necessarily holy when just being him, as though holiness and humanness are separate.
The pope is proving right now just how wicked he is in all his declarations made against the word of God. No one could be different on the outside than they are on the inside. The pope is possessed of devils and those who are die-hard Catholics cannot see it because of their allegiance to him instead of Christ. They have to make up lies in their own minds to be able to continue to follow Him.
A person cannot be acting wickedly speaking against God and infallible about the things of God at the same time, this is lunacy.
The Catholic church teaches that their followers must go to a priest to confess, he acts as the mediator between them and God.
1 Timothy 2:5
"For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"
There are so many violations of the Word of God in the Catholic church it would take volumes to prove it.
One of the similarities between the Catholic church and the Pentecostal church is the propensity to take scripture out of context to make it say what they want it to mean. This is always the problem with cults. They use just enough of the scripture out of context to fool people into following their false doctrine.
Only those who know the bible well, in context, and are seeking the Holy Spirit for truth will be able to discern these lies and there are too many to count in our day of apostasy.
May everyone reading this ask Christ for clarity on everything and then obey what He tells them as they read His word with the purpose of learning and growing in holiness.

Fight Every Battle as Led by the Holy Spirit

You have heard it said that we need to choose our battles. This sounds good on the surface but on deeper reflection it leaves us losing the war.
We must fight every battle and as we do so we find ourselves having fewer of them. When we ignore a problem it grows and morphs into a ituation so large it cannot be fixed.
Our battles are spiritual and some are physical. When we ignore even one we allow rebellion. Rebellion ignored grows out of control and we find ourselves in more battles than if we had dealt with them quickly.
James 1:12 – "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him."
1 Timothy 6:12 – "Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses."
James 1:2-4 – "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
1 Peter 1:6-7 – "In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ."
When we trust in Christ we do not grow weary of the battles and we fight them in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Strength or Weakness?

Strong people can admit their flaws, sins and mistakes to go forward in character development. Those who cannot admit these things are weak and never develop strong character, and even regress.
Matthew 13:11-13 "…11 He replied, “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12 Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 13 This is why I speak to them in parables: ‘Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.’"

No Hope but Rather Expectation

I no longer use the word hope as it has been described in our English Bibles.
The word "hope" in our culture denotes a sense of doubt. But what we have is an "expectation" because of God's promises. We don't wish that it would happen when God says something, we know it will.
Titus 2:13…12 "It instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives in the present age, 13 as we await the blessed hope (expectation) and glorious appearance of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. 14 He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds."
When we love Christ we believe Him!!!!!! We don't hope its true, we know its true.
