Evil is Growing, Seek Christ for the Answers

The number of narcissists are growing because of the self esteem teaching, as well as the acceptance of all sin and bad behavior.
Judges 21:25, “In those days there was no king in Israel:
every man did that which was right in his own eyes.”
Since Christ has been thrown out of families, schools and everry other institution there is no good left except what people choose to believe is good.
Our children's generation were raised in the culture of love yourself, it didn't bring confidence as we should teach it brought arrogance that caused this narcissism to grow. The end goal in our day is to be better than others, to be superior and elevated.
This is why everyone is encouraged to go to college and become a doctor or lawyer. They say "you can be whatever you want." This is a lie, we cannot do everything we want because we each have different talents and intelligent levels. We must seek Christ to determine our careers. Some of the guidelines for this is in the Bible where God shows us the roles of men and women in marriage.
Confidence comes from admitting mistakes, correcting them and moving on to become better. This is discouraged in our culture. We build confidence by trying things, failing and getting back up to try again or to try something new.
There is no confidence in arrogant people, they don't try new things because of their fear of failing at something. They want to be seen as all wise but they are less knowledgeable and less wise than those who admit their failings and move on to do better. A narcissist can never admit they don't know something, they are full of pride and lack emotional intelligence.
Excessive praise is the new normal for our culture, therefore it produces arrogant and entitled adults who will do whatever it takes to control others. The have not interest in actually doing better in life as long as they can pretend they are without the effort it takes to learn.
The narcissist is not happy with anyone who attempts to help them grow. They must be seen as already perfect and right. This is why we experience older people now in their mid fourties who have not grown past infancy in their emotional stagnation.
In the years we were going to school it was normal to have an essay returned to us all marked up in red to show the mistakes. We were expected to correct the mistakes and hand the paper back for further evaluation. When the paper came back to us after the evaluation and it had a good mark on it we were happy that we learned something. However now days the teacher doesn't want to discourage the children so they don't mark up their papers, they are not made to repeat them again to make it right, so the children grow up believing there are no standards and they can do anything they wish and it will be approved.
Believe it or not this slops over into their relationships. The children of today are not taught to say sorry, to make amends or to feel ashamed for bad behavior. In fact the bully in a class room pokes at another child, the other child fights back to defend themselves and both are punished for fighting. This is injustice, it is the bully who should be punished and the one who defended himself should be told not to fight but to tell the authorities instead but not punished.
The problem with our culture is the lack of honest and difficult communication that resolves problems and grows character. The mantra in our culture is basically, "just let it go" or worse yet, "just forgive", which enables and empowers the bullies to continue and grow worse.
There is no justice when we just "let things go", there is only the bully able to claim their right to abuse others with impunity and without consequences. Perhaps too the bully is full of glee that the victim got punished right along with him, this was his goal, to cause frustration so the victim will respond in a way that gets them in trouble too.
We are seeing these things grow as the culture becomes more selfish and hedonistic. The more the culture rejects God the more these evil traits overtake the culture.
The important thing to remember is that when we allow bullies to go without chastisement and without consequences their behavior does not stay only with them, the lack of justice influences others who are watching.
Sadly the bullies are in control of everything now. It is the rational and kind person who is rare. The reason for this is that people stopped chastising others for evil behavior, they forgave without consequences or a change in the evil ones heart.
It is not kind or loving to allow a bully to continue without any consequences. The psychological way of dealing with people, the declaration that all people are basically good and someone is mean because of something that happened to them is a lack of understanding of human nature.
There are people who are just plain mean, they may have had the example of narcissistic parents but they still made their own choice to follow those with a bad heart.
No one has an excuse to be mean because something happened to them. Many people who had bad things happen to them didn't hurt others because of it. It makes no sense to be mean to someone who never hurt you because someone else in your life was mean to you.
What makes more sense to me is to choose to be different from those who harmed you. If you hated what they did then choose to do the opposite in your own life. My guess is that people who are mean see it as a means of power and their lust for power causes them to use excuses for their bad behavior.
Those who seek Christ and are changed into a new creation hate hurting anyone. These people will not be narcissists, they will love and respect everyone.
John 13:34-35 "…34 A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so also you must love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”"
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
"4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant,
5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,
6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails; "
If we love others we tell the truth, which may included chastisement when needed to bring someone back to right thinking and actions. It also includes sharing in their joys, heartaches and needs. Love is invested in concern more about others than about self.
