Authentic Christianity

When we are authentic Christians we are the same on the inside that we are on the outside. Our lifestyle reflects our faith in Christ.

Those who are confronted about their sin when they claim to be Christian and return this answer to you; "you don't know my heart" are revealing that their sinful actions are what is on the inside.

We cannot do on the outside that which is different from our character.

Kind loving people do not do rude things to people on a regular basis. If we do mess up we are deeply sorry and confess it to be cleansed.

Those who fight bitterly to defend their sin without any sense of remorse are not born again. They only say they are Christians but have never been changed into a new creation by Christ. Why do I say this?

Because: John 14:15 15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever—…"

John 14:21

"Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him."

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

1 John 3:4-9

"Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. You know that he appeared to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning.
