If you are ever in the wild and you see lions coming, don't run, they see something running they think it is prey. Perhaps we as believers ought to think about this. Stand strong in the Word.
1 Peter 5:7-9
"…7 Cast all your anxiety on Him, (Jesus Christ) because He cares for you. 8 Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering."
Perhaps as we ponder the plight of Daniel in the lion's den we will realize the power of standing firm in Christ, not our own power.
The devil roars around like a roaring lion do not run in fear of him, he comes to destroy but Christ is the Lion of Judah and He is our Lion King! The devil cannot compete with our King!!!
Revelation 19:16
"16 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords."
