Matthew 7:21-23 "21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"
False converts are outwardly religious but marked by a peculiar callousness toward believers especially those who encourage others to actually follow the Bible, the Word. Christ is called the Word, to ignore His Bible is to ignore Him.
Most people who claim to be "Bible believers" today do not follow most of it. They lack the fruit of the Spirit of Christ which is the evidence of the born-again experience. The very character qualities of Christ should remain in all those who have been changed into a new creation by Christ. I am not saying those who pretend to have these qualities through playing a role but rather those who are automatically walking in the qualities of Christ without having to pretend.
Galatians 5:22-23
"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. "
A person who has been changed by Christ does not have to try to have the fruit, they possess it as a part of their being, never having to think of how to do this fruit, it comes as naturally as breathing without thinking.
Those who have this fruit do not display it for some people they wish to impress and not for others. Those who love Christ operate in this fruit all the time with everyone.
