God Can Get Through Without Us

I am convinced more than ever now that devils are twisting the minds of people to make them believe things that are not true for the purpose of destroying families and relationships with non-family members. I am astonished sometimes at the things people are angry about but refuse to discuss.

The devil knows that "non-communication" leaves people to their idle and even idol imaginings which deceive otherwise reasonable human beings.

If the devil can get someone to believe a wrong has been leveled against them when there wasn't any, then they become convinced by shear imagination rather than fact and intent.

I cannot tell you the number of times someone acted angry toward me and others and refused to talk about it. This is a violation of God's Word. God clearly tells us if we have something against our brother/sister, we are to go to them to work it out.

Perhaps people shrink from working something out because they know they have no grounds and can't take the chance of exposing wrong attitudes or sinful actions.

When we really believe we have done nothing we are not afraid to talk about it. When we are willing to violate the Scripture to save face we are more than likely guilty of something, even if only to believe a lie.

Somehow, it makes sense that when we are sheepish and withholding we know something is wrong in ourselves that we do not want exposed.

Proverbs 28:1-2 "The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, But the righteous are bold as a lion."

If we are humble and love people we want to work things out, it pleases us when relationships are restored, but more than that it pleases us that they are restored God's Way.

Matthew 5:23-24 "23 Therefore if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.…"

However, if our brother refuses to listen to us, then we are to walk away and leave it to the Lord.

2 Corinthians 13:1
This is the third time I am coming to you. "Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses."

Matthew 18:15-17 "15 “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. 17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector."

If a brother refuses to listen, refuses to discuss, then we have no other alternative but to walk away and leave it to the Lord, He can handle and will handle that which we cannot.
