Wicked Flee When Scripture is Presented

Proverbs 28:1
"1The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion."

Yesterday I was confronted by someone with an accusation of "judging" others because of my assertion that those who do not obey the Word are sinning.

One of the clues of a disobedient believer is when they flee at the sight of scripture presented to prove a truth.

I call their tactic, "hit and run" because they accuse abruptly and then quickly block as soon as the scripture is presented that refutes them. After all, how can a "hit and run" confront God's Word with an argument against it.

In these last days, we will be accused of many things because of the love of many for their traditions or the teachings of psychology, which by now has become a tradition of men.

We will be rejected by family and friends for staying to the word of God in every discussion.

Do not lose heart when you are abandoned or rejected outright. Simply praise God as the scripture tells us to do and move on to others who may want to hear.

James 1:2 "2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance."

Romans 5:1-5 "5 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,
5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."

Hallelujah!!!!
