What is success, in the minds of most people, may not be at all. Success is when a failure has taught us something valuable that redirects our path. "All things work together for those who love Christ."
Someone is not successful when they love money and have gained a lot of it. A successful person is one who loves Christ and is continually learning from their life experiences.
The greatest blessings are learning things from our experiences that could not have been understood without the difficulties.
An easy life and pleasurable life doesn't teach very much.
James 1:2-4 "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
Matthew 5:12
"Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you."
Romans 5:3
"Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;"
James 1:12
"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him."
