God's way of doing church!
Our modern gatherings are so far from the Biblical model of a vibrant spiritually alive entity, that it is unrecognizable as the church of God. Our gatherings have left the Biblical model of the church in favor of an ungodly and prideful entertainment mentality.
Why do we have "worship teams" when God said that the Holy Spirit would be our leader in worship? We do this because we act like Israel when it wanted a king like all the other nations rather than be satisfied with God as their leader.
We have forgotten that "the Church", is people, not an organization but a family.
We have capitulated to the government to keep more of our money, when we should have kept government regulations out of our administration of business while relying completely on God.
Most believers today have no clue as to what the true body of Christ looks like, they think we have two heads when we say it is better to meet in small gatherings and in homes.
We do not need all the media trappings that have dominated our lives. It is bad enough that we have them in the home, they have now entered the gatherings. There seems to be no escaping entertainment to truly worship our Lord.
This is a very good article on the way God's people should honor and worship Him. Many people will not understand this, their minds will not wrap around it, we have all been brainwashed into a traditional way of doing church that we cannot see the truth about how Satan has destroyed the witness of believers through all the media hype.
