Woman Walks Along Side, Not Behind

Can anyone explain rationally why the feminists are not coming against Islam? The treatment of women is so brutal and oppressive that any woman taken from America and thrown into Islam would go nearly insane if she had to endure its rules. In our country wife beating is a jailing offense, but in Islam is it encouraged.

This is one more thing that makes no rational sense anymore. The Bible elevates women to a status to be protected, nurtured and honored.

Sadly some denominations are incorporating some of Islam into their thinking as they seek to dominate women instead of loving them.

Ephesians 5:25 "Ephesians 5:25: “For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her."

Genesis 2:18
"18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”

The husband and wife are to compliment one another, each slightly different functions that fit together like a glove. When either is emotionally or physically abused this is sin.

Love does not force, intimidate, manipulate or demean, there is no place for these tactics in a marriage on the part of either spouse.
