When we see a person who cannot communicate without coercion and intimidation we are looking at a very insecure human being. Don't pity them, they have chosen this path.
Those who are confident about their own beliefs and path in life have no need to force, mock or intimidate others. We share confidently and kindly without tactics when we are confident about our lives and beliefs.
The narcissist does not share kindly or confidently, they must deter the conversation from rational and reasonable dialogue while moving into anger and then rage when we will not agree with them.
There is no desire on the part of the narcissist to learn from you. They must work at all costs to bring you to a position beneath them.
Imagine the turmoil that goes on in the soul of someone who cannot be pleased or happy unless they are superior!!!
The most confident people I know are those who can share their views and walk away when the narcissist attempts to cause a fight. The confident person needs no one else to agree with them to continue believing truth. The narcissist on the other hand cannot be secure unless others see things their way. This is why they become angry, their entire life depends on how others view them.
When we know God is our defender and that He sees all that is going on we have no need to fight to win. Our goal as born again believers is to speak boldly and leave the hearer to God. We have no need to coerce or force anyone to accept what we say, we are confident without the approval of others.
Moros is the Greek words used for "fool" in the Bible. It is where our word for moron originates. A moron is a person of about age 8 or younger, in other words a person of lesser wisdom than an adult.
These people, that is the fools, have the mentality of bratty eight year olds. They are not stupid organically they simply cannot reason with wisdom because of their rebellious nature.
It is my opinion that fools are people who cannot grow emotionally or spiritually because of their rebellion. They make themselves stupid by their resistance to teaching or rational reasoning. The longer one resists truth and wisdom the more foolish they become until at some point they can no longer think any other way.
Proverbs 18:2
"A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion."
Proverbs 29:11
"A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back."
Proverbs 1:7
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction."
Proverbs 18:6
"A fool's lips walk into a fight, and his mouth invites a beating."
Fools could change if they wanted to, but their mindset is so deeply invested in appearing superior that they refuse to humble themselves to admit their need for correction.
The longer a person resists wisdom the more foolish they become and the less likely they will ever change from their foolishness. The numbers of these people are growing all the time because of the 2 Timothy 3 mentality of total rebellion against God and rational reasonable thinking.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
“Difficult Times Will Come”
3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."
This is a description of the last days apostate church. Don't be too astonished at the foolishness in the modern churches, it was prophesied a long time ago.
Believers we are living in the last of the last days, soon Christ will come for us. In the mean time we must be about God's business, that is warning unbelievers and encouraging believers.
