False preachers such as Beth Moore consider those who actually follow the Bible as hyper-fundamentalists in derogatory terms.
When the false teachers cannot disprove the Bible we speak, they will discredit us by name-calling and character assassination. This is the first sign they know they are wrong but cannot prove it by the Bible.
Joyce Meyers, Beth Moore, and Paula White, are the most prominent today. These women teach against the true gospel of Christ leading people to believe their own mind is their power among many other heresies.
If a woman is a preacher over men and very popular that is the clue they should be avoided.
1 Timothy 2:12 "12 I do not permit a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man; she is to remain quiet."
Violation of the scripture is no small matter, these women are focused on their own desire to be wealthy so they justify it by preaching it is God's will that we all are wealthy and we are lacking faith if we are not, another lie from the devil.
Philippians 4:11-14 "11 Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
12 I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.
13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."
Notice that these women are deeply invested in the latest clothing style and even dress like men when on stage. They tell more stories than they read from scripture and they use a lot of joking to keep their audience from thinking too deeply.
I have listened to parts of their messages to see the tenor or their preaching, it's really not preaching, they use motivational methods to encourage the people to feel good about themselves. This is the reason they draw such big crowds, the flattery keeps the congregation coming back.
Proverbs 26:24-28
"Whoever hates disguises himself with his lips and harbors deceit in his heart; when he speaks graciously, believe him not, for there are seven abominations in his heart; though his hatred be covered with deception, his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly. Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling. A lying tongue hates its victims, and a flattering mouth works ruin."
Proverbs 29:5
"A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his feet."
Psalm 5:9
"For there is no truth in their mouth; their inmost self is destruction; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongue."
These lying heretics do not love those to whom they preach, they only love their own popularity and wealth.
True preachers of the word obey the Bible and tell the truth because of their deep love for those to whom they minister.
There is no love in a false preacher, even their good deeds are to glorify self. A true preacher of the word has no concern for himself, his desire is to hide behind Jesus Christ so that only Christ can be seen.
