Where is the Faith in Difficulties?

I am convinced all this COVID19 nonsense is all a roos to control the population and bring about the one-world system.
However, so what? It is what it is and no one can stop it. The Christians must remain faithful to God, it's a test for us to see how deeply our Christianity runs.
Does it become weak because we are threatened with the suspension of our freedoms or do we remain joyful, and as Christ-like as we were before this thing happened?
Believe me when I say we have been the most pampered form of Christianity on the planet for a long time. The persecution we experience at worst is a mean look or rejection of us. Big fat deal!!!!!
If we were to watch the misery of Christians in China or Africa or other places in the world we would come home ashamed of ourselves for our complaining about the loss of our freedoms.
I agree that God is removing freedoms because we have dishonored Him. We deserve the wicked leaders we are getting. We may find ourselves in the same condition as those who are really being persecuted, in most cases it is what grows the church. When people have nothing left to lose and they have no hope is when they turn to God. Isn't this the greater good? I believe so!
American Christians have been far too coddled and pampered for too many years, they are weak and childish in their Christian walk if most of them are even born again. Cultural Christianity is easy when there is no persecution.
When the persecution comes those pretenders walk away from their faith because they never really had it to begin with. However, the born again believers do not walk away no matter what happens to them.
Mark 4:13-20 "13 And He *said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables?
14 The sower sows the word.
15 These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them.
16 And in a similar way these are the ones sown with seed on the rocky places, who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy;
17 and yet they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution occurs because of the word, immediately they fall away.
18 And others are the ones sown with seed among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word,
19 but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desires for other things enter and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
20 And those are the ones sown with seed on the good soil; and they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundred times as much.”"
Think about it!!!!!
