White Washed Tombs

Matthew 23:27
27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness."
This was the state of the Pharisees in Jesus Christ's day and the state of the apostate church today.
Following the ways of the world to "do church" has overtaken nearly all gatherings with rare exceptions. They teach the doctrines of the Bible distorted and dismissed to fit their cultural narrative.
Those who do not follow the ways of the apostate church are ignored and even driven out to allow the people in the pews to enjoy their false doctrine and worldly ideas mixed with paganism.
When we focus on Christ and our own walk with Him we will not be intimidated by those who reject God's Word. We will not be "co-dependent", meaning our thriving does not depend on whether anyone else accepts or rejects us, it depends entirely on what Christ told us to do and say and all the results will be left up to Him.
It is not our responsibility to make someone else understand through repetition or intimidation, our responsibility is to calmly and boldly tell the truth. Whatever they do with it or how they respond to it is on them, not on us.
Matthew 23:28
"In the same way, on the outside you appear to be righteous, but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness."
How someone responds to correction or instruction tells us everything we need to know about their character whether it be open to truth or whether it be stubborn and rageful.
We know the heart of someone who fights against the truth. They don't fight against us, they fight against God, let Him handle it His way.
Acts 23:3
"Then Paul said to him, "God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! You sit here to judge me according to the law, yet you yourself violate the law by commanding that I be struck."
