Forgiveness has Conditions Attached to It

Repent yes, however, there is a condition to forgiveness and that is repentance. Repenting and forgiving are two sides of the same coin, both must be present for a relationship to be restored. When there is no repentance there is no forgiveness and the relationship remains broken.
Those who will not be sorry for their sin will not change and the relationship remains broken no matter what you say to them. Saying, "I forgive" does nothing it does not fix anything. God does not forgive those who are not sorry and He is our ultimate example of how relationships are supposed to work.
Luke 17:3-5 "…3 Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to say, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.” 5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”"
We never do revenge and we bless those who curse us but we cannot have a relationship with those who think they have no reason to be sorry or change their behavior.
Don't miss the command of God that says; "if they come and say I repent."
