Presidents are to be dignified, refined and diplomatic, one can be strong and decisive and still be this way. But our president is brash, condescending and out and out rude. Whether or not he's right about the country is almost irrelevant, his verbiage is vitriolic and designed to cause a reaction, and not a good one.
Trump loves to make others feel inferior except when he is wanting something out of them, such as their vote or support on something. When he thinks someone has nothing to offer him and is beneath him then he says things like "S....H....countries". Who talks like that? Except those who hang out in bars, sucking up suds while mocking those they think are beneath them.
I have no doubt that many countries of the world have problems and big ones, but diplomacy goes a long way to soften the hearts of people.
If our president will talk like this in public for God and everyone else to see, then imagine how terrible he is in private with his family. We tend to be looser expressing our real selves in private than we do in public. He doesn't even have the good sense to soften his language a bit to be more dignified in public.
Dignity? Not our president!!!!
I don't care how many photo opp good deeds he does after a storm, everything, absolutely every thing he does good, bad and ugly is to manipulate others. He is convinced that there is a block of people out there who like his filthy language and brash treatment of others, and who are fooled by his photo op good deeds.
Please don't anyone ever say to me this man is a Christian, he is nothing more than an actor in the play of life. Sadly, he has no clue about how "Christians" talk, even the fake ones give up filthy language in public.
You know, this whole controversy isn't really about his comments about particular countries, as much as it is about his attitude of superiority which leads him to believe he can blurt out any old thing no matter how filthy and those who support him will be alright with that. He uses "locker room talk" because that's who he is, a rube in the big city with lots of money.
Just because the Lord allowed President Trump into office does not mean that we should ignore or endorse his gutter mouth and lack of dignity.
I accept that he is our president, but I will not remain silent when he dishonors God, after all, Christians have surrounded him as though he were the second coming of Christ, now he is destroying our witness with his nonsense.
Ungodly people will see the Christians all enthralled with him, thinking we approve of and endorse his filthy talk. I do not approve of his tactics and the vile words he uses, let me be very clear about that.
God will use him in spite of himself and in spite of us, that doesn't mean we roll over and play dead, leaving our brains in the closet to protect one who dishonors God.
There, I've said it!
