Next time someone proclaims loudly, "wow that person is such a good person", because they saw them do one kind act, I am going to say to them; "Don't Judge."
If "don't judge works for those who are sinning, then it should work for those who "appear good", even without information to judge with evidence. If an act was truly a kind act or if it is nothing more than grandstanding for the purpose of elevating self, we cannot know until we evaluate the rest of a person's life.
The "DON'T JUDGE" mantra is nothing more than manipulation to intimidate into silence the truth tellers.
We never hear the "don't judge" crowd being irritated at anyone proclaiming someone as good, only when we judge an act that we can see, as bad, will the "don't judge" chant be thrown out there.
If someone believes we should never judge then they would be a hypocrite to judge that we are judging at all.
Someone once told me that I shouldn't tell people they are wrong, while there were telling me I was wrong for telling others they were wrong. The accusations of wrong doing on the part of the "don't judge" people are tactics not worthy of our attention.
Intimidation and manipulation of this sort serves only one purpose, that is to make others feel bad for exposing sin. Pay not attention to the mantra makers and keep speaking truth. Do not allow them to guilt you into regressing into silence.
Chances are good that very few people are speaking truth these days about most important things, we might be the only one others hear truth from, what a challenge to us to stay bold.
Ephesians 3:12 - "In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him."
Proverbs 28:1 - "The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion."
2 Corinthians 3:12 - "Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:"
