The Fantasy World of the Narcissist

Narcissists (description of them is in 2 Timothy 3) are constantly living in a fantasy world, the very reason the world is becoming ragingly insane is because narcissism is growing to the point where most people have a level of it and many are full-blown narcissists.

Most people in general are not recognizing this problem of growing anger and defensiveness because they think it is normal and are even confused that perhaps these ragers have a good reason. The ragers themselves are convinced they are above instruction and correction, all knowing and godlike.

Psychology has trained our culture to believe if someone has bad character someone else must have caused it. Instead of realizing that mankind is sinful and wicked in need of being changed by Christ, they think in worldly terms to excuse the one who is mean and rude because "they might have had problems in their life", is their excuse. It basically exonerates the perpetrator of evil and pressures the innocent victims to tolerate and even forgive the evil done against them.

If someone doesn't believe me that narcissism and fantasy thinking are growing, take a look at the many ragingly insane movements of today that fly in the face of science and Biblical thinking.

It is irrational that a person would deny the gender God made them to dangerously mutilate themselves to pretend to become the gender they want to be. And, that anyone would want to be a different gender that God made them is one more way of hissing in the face of God.

The society is seriously harming themselves for no good reason at all.

There are many other societal pressures in our day that are the devil's attempt to influence people to defame and defy God. These things are becoming the norm rather than the crazy fringe it used to be that was hidden because it was not embraced as it is now.

The devil wants people to think irrationally to cause harm to those who believe the lies as well as harm to anyone who stands against the lies.

2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.…"

Once someone has been taught the comfortable lie they will never embrace the life saving truth.

Isaiah 30:10

"They say to the godly seers, "Stop seeing visions!" and to the prophets, "Do not prophesy to us the truth! Speak to us pleasant words; prophesy illusions."

2 Timothy 3:1-5

Difficult (ragingly insane)Times Will Come

3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.

2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,

3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,

4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

5 holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these."

Do not be discouraged because as authentically born-again believers we know the end of the story and Who is in charge. Christ is with us through all things all the time.

2 Chronicles 16:9,10

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
