Covert Narcissists Have No Business Assuming Things About Anyone

Covert narcissists assume many things. Even when you are speaking in generalities about the world or someone else you don't name, they will assume you are talking about them.
There is so much guilt and pride in the heart of a narcissist that they believe even our general statements are about them.
If the covert narcissist would simply admit their sinful attitudes and covert actions they could be free of that guilt through the cleansing of Christ.
When anyone is guilty of sin there must be a denial and constant justifying it to remain emotionally steady. The guilt plagues them continually so they must make up ideas in their head why someone else is at fault for shaming them.
They believe others are shaming them because the narcissist is regularly shaming others. Shame is the "go to " manipulation of the narcissist who must appear superior to others. If they do not feel superior they feel that they are nothing.
The Lord Jesus Christ is God and knows perfectly what works in freeing someone from their sin as well as their guilt. Those who are defending their sin or justifying their sin are in bondage to it. They cannot be freed from it until they confess and ask God to cleanse them.
Romans 6:6-7 in the Bible says, "We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin".
Romans 6:18 "18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. 19I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to escalating wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness.…"
Romans 8:2 "For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death."
