Prosperity Preachers Only Love Their Popularity

The prosperity preacher will tell the one whose house is floating away in the flood that they caused it by not having enough faith. They undermine the principles that trials build character and faith when we know God has a purpose in all things.
Romans 8:28
"28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
James 1:2-4 "2 Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
The prosperity preacher's focus is on our own inner power to cause things to happen not on God's purposes that create strength and beauty in the soul of one who trusts in Him. This power within ourselves is pagan thinking and fully apposed to God's Word.
The prosperity preacher would have told Christ He didn't have enough faith because He went to the cross.
