God is Angry with the Wicked Every Day

Have you ever been in the room with an arrogant narcissist who has targeted you?
The problem is when we are ourselves with innocent and normal responses to things and the narcissist will rage over nothing important except that we disagreed with them, to make the rest of the people in the room think we did something wrong because they raged.
Often the people in the room don't seem to be able to evaluate what actually happened, all they see is the rage of the narcissist. Because the narcissist raged we must have done something wrong, in the minds of the onlookers.
Have you ever been in conversation with someone who is expressing their opinion, but when you express yours they become unhinged as though you did something wrong?
Our world is growing in this narcissism because for two generations now children have been raised to believe they are special and everything they say and do should be praised.
2 Timothy 3 describes the mentality of the end times generation. We used to call it the "ME" generation, but it is far worse than just selfishness, it has morphed into raging insanity when anyone disagrees with them or says no to them.
We live in a world declining seriously in manners, kindness and love. It makes sense that in a world full of self-exalted people the culture would choose leaders just like themselves.
God gives us the leaders the country deserves! Even the "good guy" has serious arrogance flaws but because the culture is arrogant and lacking in discernment they will not see those flaws.
Zechariah 11:4-17
"4 This is what the Lord my God says: “Pasture the flock doomed to slaughter.
5 Those who buy them slaughter them and go unpunished, and each of those who sell them says, ‘Blessed be the Lord, for I have become rich!’ And their own shepherds have no compassion for them.
6 For I will no longer have compassion for the inhabitants of the land,” declares the Lord; “but behold, I will let the people fall, each into another’s power and into the power of his king; and they will crush the land, and I will not rescue them from their power.”
This was not written to us but it was written for us, to show us how God deals with rebellious nations and a rebellious people who spurn His truth while claiming to be of Him.
God is not fooled by our arrogant self-righteous words, he is looking at the heart and the covert sneaky way people twist His truth to make themselves sound righteous when just the opposite is true.
Our eyes have been blinded by the worship of freedom and fleshly desires. Ask yourself, "Why would God treat America any differently than He did those ancient nations?" He does not change and is angry with the wicked every day.
Psalm 7:11 "God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day."
