Satan has effectively silenced those who would expose error by intimidating them into believing they are being unChristian by calling out those who are not only in error doctrinally as wells as in serious disobedience against God. Now we have an entire culture who is afraid to tell the truth openly about important matters, who are also frightened to admonish and rebuke when it is needed.

Hiders Have a Reason
Those that hide from others are usually people who have something to hide, they are also the ones who look for cracks in the armor of others, often cracks that are not there but that the peepers wish were there.
It is one thing to legitimately confront sin, quite another to seek to contrive appearance of sin where there is none.
Matthew 7:5 "You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye."
1Corinthians 13:4 "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it his not arrogant"
Philippians 2:3 "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves."
James 3:14-15 "But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic."
