In America we have the freedom to practice our faith as long as it does not involve force, murder, rape or other evils that intimidate and harm others. Speech is completely acceptable, unless it involves threats against our person.
Simple isn't it!!!!!
Rejecting the cultural Christianity I grew up with to embrace and enjoy a relationship with Jesus Christ. A place to come and share thoughts about almost anything. Especially things of the Lord. Please no Anonymous posts, I enjoy knowing who is writing to me.

The Fist and the Nose
Did you know that Islam was banned in America in 1952. Even back then the "powers that be" knew of the atrocities carried out by those who follow the Koran!
When a book commands it's followers to behead, rape and torture anyone who is not Islamic, we know those who obey that holy book will be in support of those who do these things even if they don't do it themselves.
We have freedom for all religions in this country except those that harm others. Satanism is not allowed to openly practice infant sacrifice and other murderous things.
The Jews here are not doing animal sacrifices in their Synagogues, nor are tribes from other countries coming here to sacrifice a virgin to volcanoes.
We do not come against other religions in our country as long as they do no harm to others, as long as they are not a threat to the citizens of this country, they can worship as they please.
Sadly, Islam is attempting to eradicate Christianity from a country that was never theirs in the first place. It is not the people we oppose in our culture it is the practices that harm others if their holy book is to be followed.
People in this country have not harmed Muslims, they have lived and worked alongside everyone else. It is the Muslims that have come in recent years who have attempted to take our country from us through shouting, intimidation, marching and hateful verbiage.
If there have been acts of unkindness or attacks it has only been by the crazy fringe who must find a reason to hate not because of the religion but because they love to hate something so they choose what is unfamiliar to them. The average person on the street has not persecuted Muslims.
America has been known as the "melting pot", meaning we have allowed many people from all over the world to come legally into our country to blend in, not to isolate themselves from all other Americans but to assimilate, to become an American.
Of course there have been disagreements and bouts that needed to be worked out over the years, but nothing even close to the widespread chaos of beheadings, rapes and other injustices as we see in other Islamic countries.
Any person of any race or any religion is free to live where they want and conduct their lives normally in America, but they are not free to come here illegally and terrorize our citizens by force to become one of them.
These immigrants are also free to speak to others about their religion, as Christians are free to speak to others about their faith. Everyone can speak but no one can harm.
I don't remember who said it but someone in history said this; "Your right to swing your fist ends at the tip of another man's nose."

Not a Respecter of Persons
God is no respecter of persons, He does not choose one over the other, all have an opportunity to trust Christ, all have that choice and Christ wishes all to come to Him, even though He knows not all will.
1 Timothy 2:3-5 "…3 This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,…"
Acts 10:34-35 " 34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism, 35 but welcomes those from every nation who fear Him and do what is right.…"

Understanding the Wicked Mind
The more we understand God's principles, the more we will understand the mind of the narcissist.
It is a good idea to know our enemies. Yes, they are our enemies because they are the enemies of God.
To understand them is to be able to ignore their nonsense and move on in the way of the Lord.
The narcissist is used of the devil to attempt to silence those who love Christ. If they can accuse us of untrue things, they can keep us feeling guilty when there is no place for guilt.
They do it by bringing up forgiven past, by saying we did or said something we never did or said and even debilitating us by causing us to think it is wrong or mean to tell the truth.
The devil calls evil good and good evil and every person that follows him uses these same tactics.
I declined to attend the wedding of a divorced couple many years ago, it marked me as someone not only to be avoided but also to be targeted for gossip and demeaning.
There were other things just like this that made me a target. When we refuse to compromise our principles for the sake of pleasing men, we begin the downward slide into worldliness.
When pleasing people becomes more important than God's principles then God is no longer the One we follow, man becomes our god, it is he that we choose to please.
John 12:43 "for they loved the approval of men rather than the approval of God."
Proverbs 14:12
"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death."
2 John 1:9
"Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son."
Psalm 118:8-9
"It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes."
Matthew 15:9
"In vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”
1 Corinthians 1:10-13
"I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. For it has been reported to me by Chloe's people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers. What I mean is that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?"

The Next Step
Those who are demonstrating in the streets here in America are doing so because of their fear of loss of freedom to do as they please no matter how wicked.
The present state of mind of most people in our country is firmly planted on self and freedom to do and be whatever anyone wants. Many people will go so far as to become angry for others who may not be allowed to do as they please.
2 Timothy 2:22
"So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart."
Our culture has been raised to believe that freedom is the most important aspect of our society. Nothing trumps freedom, nothing at all, in the minds of most people.
All we have to do is ask someone what they perceive as the overriding principles that makes America great, their answer will be the freedom. Fearing this loss of freedom brings outrage when the suggestion is raised that we should have standards that benefit all of society and based on Biblical principles.
In these end times the political powers that be and the spiritual realm are indoctrinating people to believe they will have a terrible life if they have to have standards for themselves and worse yet for others we might negatively influence.
In our present state the world is ripe for a leader to come forth who will promise total freedom for all things, as long as they are provided for materially.
Our president Trump has not delayed anything in the world, in fact he may be accelerating things through his staunch but misguided view of morality. I have heard nothing from him condemning immoral acts that have been, in recent years, defended and even promoted. His actions have been focused on the economy, safety and personal wealth. There is no mention about God's principles for living and the need for repentance for rejecting most of them.
The superficial fixes our president is pursuing are going to serve to frustrate and anger an already enraged culture that is not used to the word, "NO."
I am not saying Trumps actions thus far are wrong, I am saying they are the wrong focus, wrong in the sense that the important moral and ethical questions of godliness are being ignored.
Isaiah 5:20-21 "…20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight!
We are going to see, in my humble opinion, more violence than ever before because of the changes that are being made in our country. The changes are not necessarily bad, some are even good, but they will enrage an already completely rebellious world who loves their power and their sin.
There is no reprieve for this country as some think Trump will bring, but rather an acceleration of lawlessness everywhere in the world.
The world is becoming increasingly violent, acting like a pack of wild wolves or spoiled children who are determined to have their way no matter who they hurt.
God has allowed and even facilitated the election of Trump, but not for the reasons his supporters think. I am convinced that this is the next step in the progression of world collapse in everything. When the world is in such turmoil and fear, they are more likely to beg for a leader who will save them, that leader will be the anti-christ.
Just as the Bible states, the world will be as a woman in labor. A woman in labor has a little false labor in the beginning to prepare the body for what is coming. After awhile the false labor subsides, a sort of rest until the real pangs of child birth begin. We may very likely be in the lull between the false labor and the real labor, right now.
When the pangs return, they will be full blown and unstoppable. We are not in a reprieve to save the United States of America, we are merely in the lull before the storm, soon everything will increase and unrelenting until the child of rebellion emerges into total lawlessness.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-12
" 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,
4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
5 Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?
6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed.
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains (the Holy Spirit) will do so until he is taken out of the way.
8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;
9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and [h]signs and false wonders,
10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,
12 in order that they all may be [m]judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness."

Matthew 24
Don't Be Fooled
Narcissists always have
their "golden child" and their "scapegoat child." The
golden child can do no wrong and the scapegoat child can do no right.
The golden child can do
exactly the same things as the scapegoat child but it will be praised by the
narcissist or ignored completely as though it never happened, while the very
same actions by the scapegoat child will be mocked and demeaned. That's how it
works with narcissists.
We see this in politics,
entertainment stars, as well as family members. The narcissist can be a parent
or an adult child, a movie star or a favorite politician, sometimes even young
children will display this favoritism. We see it in elementary school.
Favoritism toward one person tends to extricate all ability to reason properly.
If a politician is loved by some, those that love him or her, often refuse to adequately evaluate them, not only on their performance but they refuse to see their character, even when it is obvious.
It is not possible to
think in rational terms when our mind's eye is blinded by desire. Desire to be
around those we perceive as special, or those whom we deem better than others.
The perception does not
have to be reality, only the desire drives the view of things. Those who are
narcissists love to hang out with those they perceive as superior, in order to
vicariously catch some of the superior person's fame and glory.
We see this all the time
in the media. Film stars are loved for how they make people feel, even when
there is a total absence of knowledge about the character of the person, other
than what they choose to display in public, their special side, the real them
is not seen by the public.
I have actually seen "Christians" praise ad nauseam, film stars while becoming angry if anyone exposes the filthy lifestyle their favored star lives.
When someone comes along to inform the narcissist that their "golden child" may not be so golden after all, they become enraged, even vengeful toward the one who brought evidence and truth. Every excuse in the book is leveled against the accuser as though the one who seeks and speaks truth is evil somehow.
This is why the
anti-christ will be so fully accepted by those who wish to assign themselves
"specialness" through contact with one whom they elevate as above
everyone else.
2 Peter 2:17-19 "…17 These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. 18 With lofty but empty words, they appeal to the sensual passions of the flesh and entice the ones who are just escaping from those who live in error. 19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves to corruption. For a man is a slave to whatever has overcome him.…"
Those who follow the anti-christ will be caught up in the hype and drama of popularity toward the beast, so much so, that they will refuse to listen to reason about him. His false miracles will further strengthen the worshipers resolve to follow him, in their anger and revenge they will follow him into hell just to prove they can do as they please. AND, they will be following him into hell, it is not just a figure of speech. Those that speak truth exposing him for what he is, will be martyred in order to be silenced.
Those that refuse to look
at things objectively and through the lens of God's Word, WILL be fooled and it
will be their doom. A refusal to see things in truth will destroy the life of
the stiff necked one.
Matthew 24:24-25 " 24
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and
wonders that would deceive even the elect, if that were possible. 25 See, I
have told you in advance.…"
Hebrews 3:15 "15 As
it has been said: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as
you did in the rebellion.”
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 "…10 and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them. 11 For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, 12 in order that judgment will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.…"
Want to be a discerning person who obeys God? The answer is simple, ask God about everything, search His Word for truth and do not believe anything until you hear from God.
1 John 4:1-6
"1 Beloved, do not
believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God,
because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 By this you know the
Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the
flesh is from God;
3 and every spirit that
does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist,
of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.
4 You are from God, little
children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he
who is in the world.
5 They are from the world;
therefore they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them.
6 We are from God; he who
knows God listens to us; he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this
we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error."
