We live in the last days of apostasy. Many "Christians" are following the rules of man that they like but disobeying the Word of God, even hostile toward those who love to obey God.
We can expect to be dismissed, ignored and even raged at for our unwillingness to adhere to the cultural
Christianity as demanded by those who love to feel good about themselves but have no desire for God.
Matthew 15:7-9 "…7 You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: 8 ‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’ ”…"
Have you been cut off of discussion, silenced through intimidation and mocked when you attempt to bring the Bible into a conversation?
Welcome to the world of the bold born-again believer. We cannot expect to be treated better than the apostles and Jesus Christ.
Christ was mocked and murdered brutally for the things He said.
Isaiah 29:13
"Therefore the Lord said: "These people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their worship of Me is but rules taught by men."
There are many things taught within the apostate church that are against the Bible while the teachers claim they are of God. Attempting to expose those unbiblical things is an impossible task since those who hear the truth are dedicated to their false beliefs to spare their own feelings of security and safety. They love the lies of the devil because they "sound" and "feel" right.
1 Thessalonians 5:3-4 "3 While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief."
2 Timothy 4:18
"18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen."
John 8:44
"You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies."
The man-made lies in the church are coming from the influence of the devil while the people there think they are having their own good ideas, mostly always based on psychology which is based on Darwinism, that we are nothing more than animals who respond to stimuli.
If you don't believe me, then believe God when He said this:
1 Peter 5:8
"Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour."
There is no better way to destroy the testimony of Christians than for the devil to infiltrate the church with his demons influencing the thoughts of the attendees. The devil has no reason to bother unsaved people they already belong to him. His thrust is to prevent the unsaved from hearing the truth by making believers weak and feeble-minded without the scriptures on their minds or lips.
If all the Christians have are their lame and superficial psychology to justify their sin and superficiality, they will be of no use to God in evangelism or in helping other believers to grow in holiness.
When secularism in the form of psychology with God's name attached at the end for effect, then what we have is against God deterring people from the truth.
My suggestion to every born-again believer is to pray and search the scriptures for the truth. If a believer never picks up their Bible or picks it up to justify their man-made beliefs they will not come to a knowledge of the truth but will be apostatized, and regressive in their minds. If they do this long enough they will have a seared conscience and utterly devoid of the truth.
2 Timothy 3:6-8 "…6 They are the kind who worm their way into households and captivate vulnerable women who are weighed down with sins and led astray by various passions, 7 who are always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth. They are depraved in mind and disqualified from the faith.…"
Ephesians 6:11
"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil."
2 Corinthians 11:14
"And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light."
2 Corinthians 11:3
"But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ."
God said that in the end times, the times we live in right now, there would be such a great deception that even the people of God would be fooled. We are living in these times, the elect is being fooled by false reporting of news on all sides, by false doctrine coming out of psychology, and pressure and intimidation to follow the culture of the devil parading itself as "an angel of light."
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 "…13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their actions.…"
Many preachers in pulpits today are not born-again, they are hirelings protecting their jobs through "ear-tickling", keeping the culture around them happy with their preaching so they will invite other worldly people to join them, solidifying their income, a sort of job security.
The only way to escape the lies of the devil is to ask God through the Holy Spirit to reveal to you all the lies and replace them with His Truth. If someone does not want to know only the truth, if they love their lies then they may not be born-again.
Do not elevate any man, preacher or otherwise to the point where you would believe everything they say and do! Depend entirely on the Holy Spirit for all your answers. When a preacher does not follow the Bible do not listen to him, and get away if you must, to protect your own Spiritual growth.
The last thing we need is false doctrine and intimidation attacking one of our ears while in the other ear we are attempting to hear from God. If we remain with pretenders and false preachers his words and the congregation who supports him will drown out whatever God is telling you.
Matthew 4:10
"Away from Me, Satan!" Jesus declared. "For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.'"
Galatians 1:8
"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be under a curse!"
Ephesians 6:12
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world's darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
False believers, false preachers and teachers are plentiful and will be punished for their lies and deceptions. No one has an excuse to continue to follow them, they can seek God. Most will not seek God because they love their lies, their self-exaltation and their happy-clappy preachers who make them smile and laugh.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.…"
