Narcissists always play the victim when they have victimized others.
2 Timothy 3 describes the mentality of the narcissist in the end times.
Narcissists will blame you for everything bad they did to you
and will convince others that you were the one who did the bad thing to them. They are strangely petty as the seek out events to find fault where there is no fault to find. Narcissists will not believe anything you say or do unless you can prove it with hard evidence but when they make up stories without proof that is expected to be believed.
Reasoning with a narcissist is impossible. They refuse to be reasonable or see anyone else's view if it does not match their own ideas.
Narcissists are continually gossips, they make up ideas in their own head that they want to believe about you that have never happened. They will use words like, "I think they may have", or "do you think they did thus and such?"
Speculation about others is rampant in the heart of a narcissist, they need no evidence and do not rely on seeing things for themselves to discern truth, all they have to do is believe it in their own mind and they count it as fact. Feelings always trump facts in the heart of the narcissist and they never attempt to go to the source to find out the truth.
Narcissists will pump you for information about your life to be able to have a hint of truth to which they add their own version of lies when they gossip to others. Half-truths are a tool on their belt.
Narcissists convince themselves of their own lies, over time they think of them so often and repeat them to others that they begin to believe the lies they have told. If they can convince someone else of a lie then that further solidifies the lie as true in the mind of the narcissist.
In short, the narcissistic condition is demonically inspired. The devil implants feelings and ideas into the minds of those who already have a problem with jealousy and hatred, easily manipulating them to be convinced of their lies and able to convince others of them too.
We only need one example of this in the bible to show how true it is, and that is when the devil planted doubt about God into the mind of Eve, convincing her she could be like God. The desire to be like God was a selfish idea to cause her to disregard what God said and do what she wanted. The devil managed to convince Eve that she was more important than anyone or anything else. And, the devil is still operating this way today in unsuspecting unbelievers who have been trained for the past 50 years that no one matters more than themselves.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
Difficult (ragingly insane) Times Will Come
3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these."
We need not be disturbed by all this when we walk with God and understand these end days of deep deception. It attacks us personally but it does not stick.
