How are we saved?
Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Faith in what that gives us grace?

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

The Fearful Place of a Nation

There are times when God tells us to stop praying. When a nation gets to a certain place in their wickedness God removes witnesses and prayers.

Jeremiah 11:13-15 "…13 Your gods are indeed as numerous as your cities, O Judah, and the altars of shame you have set up—the altars to burn incense to Baal—are as many as the streets of Jerusalem. 14 As for you, do not pray for these people. Do not raise up a cry or a prayer on their behalf, for I will not be listening when they call out to Me at the time of their disaster. 15 What right has My beloved in My house, having carried out so many evil schemes? Can consecrated meat avert your doom, so that you can rejoice?…"

Understanding the Gospel!

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY and Hear me out...
When this truth is preached all the "But but but" crowd will come out... further illustrating there are so many who have yet to receive the "understanding" from God (1John 5:20, 1John 2:20).

Listen, Many will automatically bring up how someone else is living when hearing this truth and immeadiately begin to "fruit inspect" others with their "measuring sticks". We forget so easily that nobody "measures up" and that only one sin is enough to separate us from God forever and so quick to forget there are none without sin!

This truth is like an automatic repellent to anyone basing their salvation off of anything other than trusting in the person and finished work of Jesus Christ alone to save them.

This truth is a pride killer and it humiliates all self righteousness! This truth is claimed to come from the pit of hell by many who have yet to fully grasp what Jesus did on the Cross for all who believe on Him.

This truth is often mixed up with the "life and service" of a saved believer and easily causes confusion in those who have not sought the word carefully to gain understanding of its context as we know our God is not the author of confusion yet many are thoroughly confused.

This simple basic truth simply reminds all who believe that it is IMPOSSIBLE to be saved or stay saved based on YOU in anyway! Not your tithes, not your tounges, not your baptism, not your "cleaned up act", not your church attendance, not your obedience, not your prayer, NOT YOUR ANYTHING! But only because of the PERSON AND FINISHED WORK OF JESUS CHRIST can someone ever be saved and go to heaven.

Romans 10:8 KJV
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

ONCE A PERSON IS TRULY BORN AGAIN... God has purchased them and sealed them and WILL NEVER FORSAKE THEM OR LOSE THEM. When a child of God acts up, persists in sin, falls away, or rebels (which all of us do or have done at times) God as a heavenly father will chastise them the same way a father would their son here on earth. Some sadly are sick and dead prematurely because of their chastisement but God has NEVER LOST ONE OF HIS... NEVER!

Hebrews 12:5 KJV
And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

John 6:39 KJV
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

The child of God who doesn't or didn't live and serve God as they should have will suffer here on earth in many ways and will even lose possible rewards at the judgement seat of Christ but they will NEVER BE LOST once they have been born again and purchased by God!

1 Corinthians 3:13 KJV
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

ANYONE who doesn't get it will NEVER get it unless GOD REVEALS it to them through HIS WORD as THEY SEEK HIM and FOLLOW the command of GOD to study His word!

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Remaining in the Catholic church after becoming born again violates this very important scripture!

The Righteous Do Not Need Laws

Only Lawless people need laws. The righteous will do what is right even if there is no law to restrain them.

The Double Life

Karen said this: "If you continue to live a double life eventually one of you will be exposed!"

My Answer: Yes and it will be the ugly one that is exposed because that is the one that a person works so hard to suppress. One day the person will become weary of the hard work of hiding and their real self will emerge. The decent and good self is not real, its the false persona so it will go easily when the flesh becomes war torn from hiding, all that will be left is the ugly real self.

James 1:7 For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, 8 being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Trust the Holy Spirit He Knows What to Say and Do!

Don't worry about what you will say, leave that to the Holy Spirit. When the words flow freely and effortlessly without having to think about it, then we can walk away blessed that the Holy Spirit has spoken through us.

If someone becomes angry at our warnings or the truth that is not about us, it is on them.

If you remained silent unable to speak then the Lord didn't want you to say anything. Sometimes we want to share but the Holy Spirit shuts our mouth because those who would hear would only trample on the pearls.

Matthew 7:6 "6 Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces."

Matthew 10:19-20 "…19 But when they hand you over, do not worry about how to respond or what to say. In that hour you will be given what to say. 20 For it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you."

1 John 4:5-6 "5 They are of the world. That is why they speak from the world’s perspective, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. That is how we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deception.…"

Ecclesiastes 4:7 "7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,"

Matthew 12:36-37
"36 But I tell you that every [a]careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

The bottom line: there will be times when God will speak through us and other times when He will silence us for His own reasons. Also, we must remember that many will say they are Christians but have never been born again, these are the ones who fight against the truths of the Bible pretending it is nothing more than a book of good suggestions, rather than what it is, that is the Word Of God to be obeyed.

These pretenders are offended by Christ and His principles. They have a cultural Christianity based on rules that make them look good, but have no interest in Christ.

Matthew 13:57-58 "…57 And they took offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown and in his own household is a prophet without honor.” 58 And He did not do many miracles there, because of their unbelief."

Those Who Parade Themselves

When someone gets caught up in all that wealth and health nonsense is deceived, it is a sure sign the encouragement from the wolves and the growing bank account will blind them further.

Anyone pairing up with Joel Osteen is going to become entrenched in this prosperity gospel that has captivated so many greedy people who call themselves Christian.

Matthew 19:24 "24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

Its bad enough when someone has money for their idol but even worse when they use God to gain their fortune.

Job rejoiced over his blessing of fortune, but notice that he rejoiced because he built it with his own hands. He worked to earn what he had as well as giving God the glory. The prosperity preachers are no more than beggars clamoring after money from others simply for talking a good line.

I can just hear it in my mind; "lets tell them fancy happy words and they will fill our coffers with green backs."

These wolves are not concerned about the many people who need to hear the gospel, they are only concerned about how much money fills up their bank accounts. This is why they are so invested in growing their church.

Even if they say they are giving all their money to charity, don't believe them. The charity they support is their own household.
If it were not so then why do they wear expensive clothing and drive around in expensive cars?

Philippians 3:18-20 "…18 For as I have often told you before, and now say again even with tears: Many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and their glory is in their shame. Their minds are set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,…"

Matthew 6:1-2 "1 Be careful not to perform your righteous acts before men to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 So when you give to the needy, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward."

Those who parade their good deeds and their donations are violating scripture and dedicated to fame and fortune rather than Christ. Using the name of Christ for personal gain is wicked.
