The Scapegoating Devil

In these last days the devil is using tactics that could shut believers down if they paid him any mind.

The scapegoating that we see in the media, that is Democrats accusing the Republicans of the very thing the Democrats are doing but the Republicans are not, frustrates those who do not understand this devilish dynamic. Both parties have their problems but I see far more irrational attacks coming from the Democrats than I do from the Republicans.

The more I prayed about my own situation among family the more I was able to discern they were using the exact same tactics of the Democrats in their scapegoating of me.

Scapegoating is when someone doesn't want to own their own sins and accuses others of them to deflect attention from themselves.

Most of the time they simply make up lies about their target to turn others against them, while pretending they are the innocent ones. They make bad look good and good look bad as we are told in the scriptures would happen in these last days. They will do what is right in their own eyes but their eyes see with irrational and twisted thought patterns.

The devil goes before the throne of God regularly accusing the brethren of evil that the devil is doing.

Revelation 12:10
"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night"

It is impossible to remedy this monstrous tactic through discussion. Any discussion will be shut down quickly through raging or mocking on the part of the scapegoater.

We see this all the time in the media. I have seen more Democrats mocking their opponents with false accusations and ridiculous comments than they do looking to specifics to clarify their claims.

For instance, a liar and mocker will say someone is stupid but never say why or give specifics about what they said or did that shows their stupidity.

When you hear a liar and mocker accuse you of lying it is the clue that they lie regularly which is the reason they think everyone else lies too.

The narcissists wants others to believe evil about those for whom they have contempt. They wish to ruin anyone who walks in righteousness.

John 17:4,6
“Father, I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do…I have manifested thy name unto the men”

When we belong to Christ we can see these tactics for what they are, remain calm and ignore them. The tactics of the devil do not have to change our responses or our attitudes.

I like an old saying that came from England during the war when the nation was ravaged by the enemy, it goes like this; "keep calm and carry on. " We can do that all in the power of the Holy Spirit. We can do this because we know WHO is in control and the end of the whole matter.

Revelation 12:9-11
"9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,
“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death."
