Do Not Sit with the Ungodly

Psalm 1:1-2
1 How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.

Kings of the Earth are Corrupt

Psalm 2:1-4
2 Why are the nations in an uproar
And the peoples devising a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth take their stand
And the rulers take counsel together
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
3 “Let us tear their fetters apart
And cast away their cords from us!”
4 He who sits in the heavens laughs,
The Lord scoffs at them.

Jesus Christ to be Worshiped

Psalm 2:7-12
7 “I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, ‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
8 ‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance,
And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
9 ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron,
You shall shatter them like earthenware.’”
10 Now therefore, O kings, show discernment;
Take warning, O judges of the earth.
11 Worship the Lord with reverence
And rejoice with trembling.
12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For His wrath may soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!

Those Who Love Worthlessness

Psalm 4:2-3
O sons of men, how long will my honor become a reproach?
How long will you love what is worthless and aim at deception? Selah.
3 But know that the Lord has [c]set apart the godly man for Himself;
The Lord hears when I call to Him.

Gladness in My Heart

Psalm 4:7-8
7 You have put gladness in my heart,
More than when their grain and new wine abound.
8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, O Lord, make me to dwell in safety.

The Lord Hears Believers

Psalm 5:3-4
In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice;
In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.
4 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness;
No evil dwells with You.

Boaster Will Not Stand

Psalm 5:5-8
The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes;
You hate all who do iniquity.
6 You destroy those who speak falsehood;
The Lord abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.
7 But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house,
At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.
8 O Lord, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes;
Make Your way straight before me.

Their Throat an Open Grave

Psalm 5:9-10
There is nothing reliable in what they say;
Their inward part is destruction itself.
Their throat is an open grave;
They flatter with their tongue.
10 Hold them guilty, O God;
By their own devices let them fall!
In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out,
For they are rebellious against You.

Take Refuge in Christ

Psalm 5:11-12
But let all who take refuge in You be glad,
Let them ever sing for joy;
And may You shelter them,
That those who love Your name may exult in You.
12 For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O Lord,
You surround him with favor as with a shield.

California Legislature Has Lost It's Mind

We can expect that evil parents will now force their children into things that even the children do not want to do, in the decision brought down through California law to endorse and facilitate child prostitution.

I have explained to others on facebook, who do not live in the Northwest, how evil it is here. Because they live in a part of the country where things still have a semblance of normality to some degree, they have a hard time believing it is as bad as I tell them.

Here is one good example of what I am talking about, the recent law in California, is only one event that is a major clue about the mentality of the west coast. There are many other things that have demeaned and destroyed people, families and entire cultures that are not seen as blatantly, but are just as devastating.

This region needs the gospel, unfortunately many churches are preaching a false gospel of works, while remaining in their pews week after week, many are being destroyed by the evil around them.

The proliferation of shack up couples has helped to foster a flippancy about immorality, using children in sex acts is merely the next step. Our country has endorsed homosexuality as a norm, what would make us think the powers that be would stop there? They have opened up the flood gates, the hearts of the people are being revealed by their acceptance of what congresses are doing.

Just 80 years ago those in the legislatures that are passing these evil laws would have been stormed and hung on the court house steps for many of their decisions and those who call them to account would not be jailed for it.

Evil never goes away when it is ignored, it grows, festers and then destroys everyone it touches.

Not only will we have the children being abused, sex out of marriage endorsed as is now among most, but because of the lax view of "people use", we will see the rise in abuse on every level increasing.

How can a society who hates abuse of children ever endorse these things? It's simply, society no longer has a conscience.

With each new sin that is legalized comes a new form of abuse. With each act of sin that is elevated to a status of a "right", comes more arrogance that motivates the culture to abuse the truth teller, rather than the abuser.

Where is the protection for the child when he/she doesn't want to engage in these acts, when their parents are the authority making them do it? The child is now without protection in California!!! Being used like chattel for the sake of the all mighty buck, the legislature in California has ruled on the side of evil!

Watch this!!!!!! Soon we will be hearing professing Christians calling it judging to expose a parent who is selling their child into prostitution. Why not, they are shaming us for saying that shacking up is sin. Mark these words, evil never stands still, it always takes the next step, more wicked and devastating than the last.

Matthew 18:6-7 "6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
