There are many people beginning to believe this doctrine of demons. This idea began about the 1200s brought into the Catholic church by those who experienced false miracles such as blood flowing from the communion host within the Catholic church.
As a former Catholic, I know that the church promotes following miracles over and above the Word of God. If the Word of God has no mention of a doctrine the Catholic church will change the meanings of
the Word of Jesus Christ in His Bible to match their favored doctrines based on these false miracles.
Let me give the scripture that makes this doctrine of transubstantiation so devilish and forbidden by God.
Leviticus 26:29
"29 You shall eat the flesh of your sons, and you shall eat the flesh of your daughters."
God also said:
Matthew 5:27-28
Adultery in the Heart
27 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
God counts every desire of the heart that is against His commands as having done the acts, one does not have to do the act to be guilty of adultery, murder, theft, and all the others, one only has to desire to do them to be counted as having done them.
This is true of cannibalism too, if one desires to believe the body of the Son of God is to be counted as eaten in the heart of every Catholic then they are actively participating in cannibalism, an abomination before the Lord.
Everyone who chooses to believe they are eating the body and blood of Christ has to pretend they see flesh and blood, which of course they do not see with their eyes, it is all in their own minds alone.
The excuse that Jesus said "this is my body and this is my blood" made it become the actual body and blood is not consistent with the rest of Scripture. When symbolism was used to justify the desired belief based on a false miracle of Satan without Scriptural support other than the miracle and a desired interpretation Satan was able to fool a lot of people into blaspheming Christ.
Christ said; "I am the door", "I am the way" (road), "the Bread of LIfe, "The Light of the world," "The Door of the sheep", I am the True Vine."
We know Christ is not a physical door, or a road we walk on, or bread we eat with our mouths. We know He is not a physical vine, that we should go into the vineyards and pretend He is one of the vines.
When we go back to the original languages we see that it is clear when Christ was speaking figuratively to make a point about His authority and when He was speaking in physical reality.
Even the phrase "you must be born again" is not a command for Nicodemus to crawl back into his mother's womb. Our Lord was speaking Spiritually, that the spirit of Nicodemus must be born into the Spriit of Christ in order to enter into the family of Christ.
John 3:1-21
You Must Be Born Again
3 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.”
3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’
8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
When our doctrine comes from false miracles it is easy for the devil to fool people into committing blasphemy to carry out their actions based on these miracles. What better way to demean Christ than to claim false things about His Word.
When the miracles do not match with the Word of God, or even defy the principles of the Word of God it is important that we reject the false miracle and remain faithful to the Word of God.
My question is "why do we need to believe in a miracle when the word of God is right in front of us? I suggest that the need to see a miracle to feel close to God is a lack of faith. Even pretending there is a miracle when the physical evidence all around us proves there was no physical blood or physical body to eat.
Faith is based on believing what God said that we cannot see. Those who need miracles and rituals to shore up their faith have little faith.
True faith is believing what God said in His Word, rejecting anything that others may add to His word to justify their false belief.
Whether you are protestant or Catholic does not matter, everyone must evaluate what they have been taught and what they have been convinced of according to the Bible. NOT to read the Bible to twist it to fit favored doctrines or miracles they can see, but to read it to find the heart of God and His principles as HE gave them to us.
Remember too what God said;
Matthew 16:4 " 4 A wicked and adulterous generation demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Then He left them and went away."
John 4:48, "Then Jesus said to him, 'Unless you people see signs and wonders, you simply will not believe.'"
Those with little faith are the ones who seek to have miracles they can see, they do not trust the Bible or the Holy Spirit to guide them into all truth, they must see something, these people are easy targets for the devil to divert their attention from Christ to the false miracles.
Brothers and Sisters, be a person who walks by faith through reading the Bible to believe it as you are guided by the Holy Spirit Who lives in you. Do not seek miracles or believe those who have them to shore up their weak faith.
Christ said that after He leaves this world to go to the Father we, the believers, would do even greater things than He did. But how is that possible, when is the last time you saw a person heal the sight of the Blind or grow back a withered hand? These are not the kind of works God said we would do, our greater works are the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.
Becoming born-again to live in eternity with the Father and Christ is far greater than eyesight or a hand made whole. There is no greater miracle than a heart that has been changed into a new creation by Christ, saved for eternity. We are the messengers making this knowledge available to the world before we leave in the rapture.
Christ showed His miracles while He was here to prove He was God, our mission is to preach about Him so that the greatest miracle of all will be the salvation of many souls.
Mark 16:15-16 "15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.…"
