I find it interesting that in these last days of apostasy the Christmas celebration has become completely out of control through materialism, revelry and secular celebrations among believers. Whenever a holiday or event is widely accepted and enjoyed by pagans, we can be sure there is something seriously wrong with it. Paganism has been incorporated into the culture so much so that Christianity has only a small part of the church services.
Notice too, that along with the growing apostasy, the over indulgence in the Christmas season, we also see more warnings from those who have learned the origins of the holidays that have become the fabric of American apostasy. As the paganism is growing so are God's warnings from those who desire to remain faithful to the Bible.
I once attended a church that was legalistic about a woman's length of hair, the use of wedding bands, dresses for women while placed a 20 foot Christmas tree in their lobby every Christmas. I felt that there was the practice of straining out a nat and swallowing a camel in this church that prided themselves on all their unBiblical legalistic rules, that God never commanded, while at the same time indulging in paganistic practices.
Rejecting the cultural Christianity I grew up with to embrace and enjoy a relationship with Jesus Christ. A place to come and share thoughts about almost anything. Especially things of the Lord. Please no Anonymous posts, I enjoy knowing who is writing to me.

Living in Narcissistic Times
Psalm 12
"1 Help, Lord, for the godly man ceases to be, For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men.
2 They speak falsehood to one another; With flattering lips and with a double heart they speak.
3 May the Lord cut off all flattering lips, The tongue that speaks great things;
4 Who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail; Our lips are [d]our own; who is lord over us?”
5 “Because of the devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the Lord; “I will set him in the safety for which he longs.”
6 The words of the Lord are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times.
7 You, O Lord, will keep them; You will preserve him from this generation forever.
8 The wicked strut about on every side When vileness is exalted among the sons of men."
