Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

Rejecting the cultural Christianity I grew up with to embrace and enjoy a relationship with Jesus Christ. A place to come and share thoughts about almost anything. Especially things of the Lord. Please no Anonymous posts, I enjoy knowing who is writing to me.

When the Restrainer is Removed
The Law was given to show the Law breaker their sin to lead them to Christ. Christ is the very essence of His Law and He lives in every believer. No one was ever saved or enhanced by "following" the Law.
1 Timothy 1:9-10 "…8 Now we know that the Law is good, if one uses it legitimately. 9 We realize that law is not enacted for the righteous, but for the lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for killers of father or mother, for murderers, 10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave traders and liars and perjurers, and for anyone else who is averse to sound teaching…"
Those who love the Lord and desire to live righteously have no need of Law, they are compelled by Christ to live as they should.
Those who need restraint are those who are prone to law breaking.
I need no law to tell me not to steal, I don't ever want to do that. If we were to remove the laws about stealing we would have to tightly lock up all our homes because the thievery would explode all over the place. This is why after the rapture, times will be so terrible, the Restrainer, that being the Holy Spirit will be removed and nothing will be restrained.

The Lie About Who the Nephilim Were
Devils never had sexual relations with humans. That is a lie that comes out of the book of Enoch, not a recognized book of the Bible. The only conception through a Spirit to a woman was that of the Holy Spirit and Mary, all other assertions of this sort of thing are an attempt to diminish the work of the Holy Spirit's work in bringing Christ into the world. The "Nephilim" nonsense is just this sort of attempt to mock what God did.
The Workplace Woman Smoke and Mirrors
Proverbs 31 describes the role of the woman. It is an elevated view, she runs her household like a CEO would run a business. Her husband does not dictate how she does that, God was the One Who gave her this job, not her husband. If the husband dictates her job then he usurps God's authority.
A good leader does not micro-manage those under his charge, he builds them up in their skills and talents by encouraging them to do as they are led by the Holy Spirit. He makes requests out of deference for the rest of the family while sharing wisdom he might have, he does not force, intimidate and manage that which was given to the woman to manage.
Those who believe this is a nothing job have never done that job with due diligence. It's hard work, it is a manager position and very creative and hard working if done to the glory of God.
Do not allow the narcissists of the world to judge the way you do that job, it is not their business. Those who do not live in your household or were only children in that household will not have a proper perspective of the reasons for what you do.
Those who wish to judge others based on what they want to believe tear down the will God in favor of an elevated view of themselves.
It is interesting to me that there are two extremes I have encountered, those that say a woman should be in the home but no part in the decisions there, which is not Biblical. And then there are those who say that if the woman stays in the home she must have no brain. Both are erroneous and very short sided.
If one would elevate a woman's talents by how much money she makes, are missing the calling of homemaking altogether. On a team, each person has a job to do, no one else on the team does that job for them, they must do it.
God gives women clear guidelines in Proverbs 31 as to what that task looks like and it is far more intense than what many women do out in the work force. If the woman does her job as she should according to God's design, she will be an asset to the community while at the same time making her husband look good in his job. A woman at home has the power to built her husband up by her due diligence at home. Let's read what God says about the calling of the woman, an elevated view of her task as viewed by God.
Proverbs 31:
"Description of a Worthy Woman
10 An excellent wife, who can find?
For her worth is far above jewels.
11 The heart of her husband trusts in her,
And he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.
13 She looks for wool and flax
And works with her hands in delight.
14 She is like merchant ships;
She brings her food from afar.
15 She rises also while it is still night
And gives food to her household
And portions to her maidens.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
From her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She girds herself with strength
And makes her arms strong.
18 She senses that her gain is good;
Her lamp does not go out at night.
19 She stretches out her hands to the distaff,
And her hands grasp the spindle.
20 She extends her hand to the poor,
And she stretches out her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household,
For all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22 She makes coverings for herself;
Her clothing is fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates,
When he sits among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
And supplies belts to the tradesmen.
25 Strength and dignity are her clothing,
And she smiles at the future.
26 She opens her mouth in wisdom,
And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
27 She looks well to the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children rise up and bless her;
Her husband also, and he praises her, saying:
29 “Many daughters have done nobly,
But you excel them all.”
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain,
But a woman who [s]fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
31 Give her the [t]product of her hands,
And let her works praise her in the gates."
The tasks in the modern women are a little different, many no longer make clothing as was required in the days this proverb was written, however, there are man jobs we do over the years that other women who work outside the home, had to pay others to do.
Over the years I found that there were never enough hours in a day to do all the things I had planned to do. There was never a sense of boredom. There are volunteer activities, support to our husbands when they are busy in the community as well as everything necessary to protect and provide for the family. My husband made the money while I saw where it was spent. That required planning for the best buys, while deciding what was needed and what was only luxury that would have to wait until there was extra money.
Being a household manager is a big job, there are those who are paid to do this, but the homemaker does it herself without a pay check.
For many years hordes of women have been convinced that homemaking was of no value, that prestige in the work place and money was more valuable. These women were duped into leaving the place God had planned for them in favor of fluff, smoke and mirrors.

The World Embraces Uncertainty
The world wants Christians to be unsure of themselves. They will often act irritated and even angry when we speak with boldness about the Word of God.
The world wants us to be as unsure of our opinions as they are of theirs.
When we are confident, sure footed and demonstrate resolve to follow and speak that which we believe, the world will see it as arrogance, because they view confidence in one's beliefs as arrogance.
After all, in the mind of the world, no one can know for sure about anything. Those who think like this want us to use language such as; "I think or I believe." As believers in Christ we can confidently say "I know", as we quote what God said.
I have been in contact with people who have actually raged and laughed at me for saying "the Holy Spirit" tells me things all the time." Those things never violate the Scripture, but the direction for specific life experiences is clear. I know the difference between my own ideas and when it is the Holy Spirit speaking, most of the time.
This thinking and confidence is intolerable for a world full of fantasy and uncertainty. In their minds any expression we have must be framed in "ideas" or "a little doubt."
One of the most irritating things about the sold out Christian is that they know what they know without doubt and even worse they can admit when they don't know something.
The world hates confidence and resolve. They will display much arrogance, but that arrogance is necessary to feel a sense of control since they are not sure of anything. Those who know what they know have no need to feel superior to others, their confidence is in Christ, not their elevated status in life.
The world is deeply invested in feelings more than facts, in expressions of fantasy more than truth. These superficial mentalities serve only to build pride in those that are engaging in the easiest form of expression, that nothing is real unless you want it to be and everything is based on momentary feelings. It validates whatever they want according to their latest emotional sensation.
1 John 2:15-17
"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever."
Job 21:11-15
"They send out their little boys like a flock, and their children dance. They sing to the tambourine and the lyre and rejoice to the sound of the pipe. They spend their days in prosperity, and in peace they go down to Sheol. They say to God, ‘Depart from us! We do not desire the knowledge of your ways. What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? And what profit do we get if we pray to him?’"
Because the world thinks they are always right, in their minds, even though they really are never sure about anything, they can easily dismiss their own errors when they are exposed, simply by claiming they never said or did that. These people have very selective memories. Everything is constantly moving and changing, nothing is real and everything can be denied.
The world disrespects those who know what they believe and where they are going. We see this all the time, the more confident we are, the more we are targeted for defeat. Narcissist hate with a passion anyone they cannot control. A confident person sees through the tactics of the narcissist, therefore they cannot be controlled.
When Christ is in control of the believer, then the world cannot control their thinking, this is frustrating to the world, they hate being controlled but want to control everyone else.
Romans 16:17
"I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them."
2 Corinthians 6:17-18 "17 “Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” 18 And: “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”…"
