The Plan of Escape
After the twin towers came down the people who had not been in the church many years rushed to go for about six weeks. As soon as they felt safe again they stopped going. You do the math!
People will turn to just about anyone who seems powerful when they are terrified of something. They will even pray but not know to whom they should pray.
When the disaster is all over and the people feel safe again they return to their old ways. Their "religion" was just that, only religion full of things to do to feel spiritual. This is not the state of the born again believer. We have a relationship with Christ that transcends all life experiences.
If you don't believe this take a look at the Israelites when their back was against the wall of water when the Egyptians were chasing them.
God opened up a path through the sea for them to walk on dry ground. When they were safe the Egyptians followed them and God closed up the sea drowning all of them.
What happened after that? The Israelites had seen an incredible miracle melted down their gold and made a calf to worship. They saw the miracles of their God and yet when things seemed safe they went back to their old ways, worshiping false images.
We are no different!!! I have seen people rush to the homes of born again believers to want the safety of their God, pretend to be changed only to return to their real selves when the crisis passed.
This will be the nature of things in the world in these end times. Only this time they will turn to someone who claims to be the Christ, but he will be a false christ filled with the devil. He will destroy good and torment the people with horrors we have never seen before. But first, he will pretend to be good, do lying wonders and give the people great things.
For three and a half years there will be bliss only to be followed by three and a half years of monstrous misery.
Read the book of Revelation and see what will happen. Read about the gigantic scorpions, devils that will sting the people brining on pain like we have never seen before.
The misery of these devils will be illusions that appear as real as a bad trip on LSD, with no way to escape. The pain and misery will be real and continual. Those left behind will see it, feel it and hear it, but it will all be in their minds.
How do you fight a spirit or an illusion? There will be no weapon that will battle or deter these monsters because they are spiritual.
Read the book of Revelation, then read the book of John to learn how to escape what is in store for those who will not trust in Christ before the tribulation begins.

Nothing is Small When God is in it!
Someone on another thread wondered if we will ever get back to normal. I'm guessing she meant living the way we have been accustomed to for the past 60 years. My thoughts on her comment were as follows:
"I don't believe we will get back to what we thought of as normal. These are the end of the end times and the new normal is different from anything we ever experienced before. People will become used to being controlled by the government and living in fear of disease."
Born again believers are not fearful but they are often astounded at what they see because they realize they are watching the end times prophesy unfold before their eyes.
We all believed prophesy but didn't realize many things that were being done in the government were happening, they were hidden.
Now that the government has learned how to work the emotions and perceptions of the public they know what they can get away with and how to manipulate many people to fall in with their deceptions.
Matthew 24:24
"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect."
1 Timothy 4:1
"But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,"
2 Timothy 4:3-4
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths."
2 Thessalonians 2:3
"Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,"
We do not want to be fighting with the authorities over things that are not against God. We can comply while we pray, praise God and keep on with what He has given us to do. We do not fear anything that is coming. God said He would take care of us and I believe Him. It just might not look the way we expect, since we have been pampered and indulged for many years.
We have all had far more than we deserved and far more than we needed. We have had so much that many people think some things are needs that are not needed at all, but playthings, indulgences and completely unnecessary.
We are all guilty of indulging ourselves because we could. Born again believers who understand what is important will not be in shock or devastated when their indulgences are taken from them. WHY???? Because they have Christ and they know He has a purpose for us.
Romans 8:28
"28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
This verse was written for every born again believer alive today. We all have a purpose, we all have something to do that God wants us to be engaged with before He comes to take us Home. No assignment is too small.
There is an old saying: "Nothing is too small when God is in it!"
Whatever He tells us to do we do with gusto without wondering or worrying is it big enough.
