I have never been able to have an interesting discussion with a narcissist. They are so bent on winning that they use mocking, demeaning, disrespect and dismissiveness in order to "win", rather than engaging to discover how someone else thinks and what they might learn. Discussions with narcs are agonizing without depth and without kindness.
