Next time you are tempted to whine about the government ruining our culture just remember that ungodly attitudes ruined it before God gave this country over to their foolishness. The next step after turning us over to the foolishness is to allow us the consequences of it. God will not allow a nation that claims to be Christian to get away with acting like heathens while pretending to be Christian. Think about it!!!!
Rejecting the cultural Christianity I grew up with to embrace and enjoy a relationship with Jesus Christ. A place to come and share thoughts about almost anything. Especially things of the Lord. Please no Anonymous posts, I enjoy knowing who is writing to me.

The Devil's Whispers
Many people are motivated by the devil's whispers the way the devil whispered in Eve's ear in the garden. It doesn't have to be rational, only that the devil makes it seem like good sense to those hearing his whispers.
When someone's mind is controlled by the devil everything he tells them makes sense even when it is irrational.
Many people are under the influence of the devil right now even if they are not possessed by him. Their mind thinks thoughts he put there and they think these thoughts are their own.
When the non-believer hates the Christian, even when the Christian did kind things for them, they are motivated by the devil to believe the kind thing was foolish or deliberately hurtful.
If you are a born again believer you have probably already experienced irrational reactions to your kind deeds.
When Christ did miracles healing people as well as releasing them from the control of devils, He was accused of doing those deeds by the power of the devil.
We know Christ was and is perfect, everything He did and does all the time is perfect. Even then, there were many people who hated Him out of jealousy. The devil convinced them not to believe in Him while explaining away all the good that He did.
Proverbs
"Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight."
Revelation 21:8
"But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
Proverbs 19:9
"A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will perish."

Antichrist is Soon to Appear
Many things that are happening now are on a fast track, preparing the way for the antichrist.
I am convinced that he is alive today waiting for the final tragedy that will cause such fear in people that they will look for a world leader to save them. They will believe his lying wonders, while they willingly follow him into hell.
I have been noticing for a long time the propensity for most people including many believers, to look for a leader to tell them what to think and what to do. It is easier to allow others to determine what we should all believe than to think for ourselves according to the mind of Christ.
Since many people are more concerned about having friends and the love of family they are more likely to let go of truth to maintain their status in the group.
Groupthink is more often in error than individuals who ponder things based on truth. When the group becomes the measure of truth, thinking for oneself is frightening, one might lose something if they dare to use their discernment or evaluate things according to God's Word.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears, they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."
Born again believers will constantly be swimming against the tide. Because they are courageous enough to ponder everything they are more likely to make decisions that are in line with Christ as long as their guide book is the Word of God.
Those who are deeply invested in being accepted by family, friends and the culture as a whole are those who will be fooled and dominated by the antichrist.
2 Thessalonians 2:8-10 "…8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth and annihilate by the majesty of His arrival. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and FALSE wonder, 10 and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them.…"
How does someone avoid being fooled by the antichrist?
The simple answer is that becoming born again, changed into a new creation by Christ, is the only way to know false preachers, teachers, and miracles when we see them.
Everyone without Christ will fall for the lies and deceptions of the antichrist. If you don't believe this just take a look at the thousands and thousands of people who believe the false television preachers today. These are the same people who will love the antichrist, even believing that he is Christ.

We Did It To Ourselves
We are about to experience another step in the loss of our freedoms. AND, we (the United States) have no one to blame but ourselves. We have abused the freedom God gave us. Instead of using it to bless Him we have indulged ourselves as a nation, in every form of debauchery without a conscience. Even believing it was good to do as we pleased.
Because of our resistance to seeking Christ in His Word the Bible, we have been placed in "time out." We have been relegated to our homes while the economy crashes and burns for lack of employment and household funds.
Judges 21:21-25 "…24 And at that time, each of the Israelites returned from there to his own tribe and clan, each to his own inheritance. 25 In those days there was no king in Israel; EVERYONE DID WHAT WAS RIGHT IN THEIR OWN EYES.
When a nation gets to the point of indulging and worshiping freedom it pushes God out of everything, even the church gatherings.
Noah was the only one who listened to God so it was only Noah that was saved in the flood. This is what will happen in the rapture, the world is apostate and wicked but those who love God, because they love God they obey Him, will be saved from God's wrath in the tribulation.
God will not save anyone who doesn't think they need saving.
John 3:1-21
The New Birth
3 Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;
2 this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus *said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?”
5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
9 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can these things be?”
10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and do not understand these things?
11 Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you do not accept our testimony.
12 If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
13 No one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man.
14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;
15 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.
16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21 But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”
