If You Have Not Seen it for Yourself Dismiss it as Gossip

If you have not seen something for yourself, no matter who says it to you, no matter how much they claim to have evidence, it is gossip to pass it on and total foolishness.
Never pass on anything you didn't see for yourself. This would eliminate most of the conspiracy posts I see on the internet.
When the internet first came out rational reasonable people avoided it because of all the foolishness on it. Now we have good rational people on the internet who are bringing good messages but there still remain those idiotic "tabloid" news articles or videos and now we add AI to that, we have a hot mess.
If something does not pertain to you, if it does not edify the Christian in the Word of God and if it cannot be proven, then ignore it, please do not pass on anything you have not personally seen for yourself. I don't mean something a friend told you, or a friend of a friend whom you trust.
Sadly nothing can be trusted if you did not see it or do it personally yourself. Christians are fighting over things they have heard and never saw, it is completely irrational.
Ephesians 4:29
"Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear."
Proverbs 6:16-19
"There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers."
Proverbs 16:28
"A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends."
Proverbs 20:19
"Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets; therefore do not associate with a simple babbler."

God Seals Those Who Belong to Him

Repentance is for those who are lost and need to become born again.
Confession is for the believers to be cleansed from sin.
1 John 1:9 "9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
There are no examples in the Bible for believers in which the Holy Spirit leaves them, that happened in the Old Testament when God only placed the Holy Spirit in certain people for specific purposes. Now, after Christ came we have the Holy Spirit permanently in every born-again believer as our security.
Ephesians 1:13-14
"13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of the promise, 14 who is a first installment of our inheritance, in regard to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory."
Christ changes believers into a new creation, they will never go back to the old again, it is "eternal salvation."
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"
Eternal life begins when the Holy Spirit comes to live in us. He never leaves after that.
Hebrews 13:5 says, "Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you'".
God does not throw away His children who sin, He disciplines them.
Hebrews 12:4-11 "4 You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin;
5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,
“My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
Nor faint when you are punished by Him;
6 For whom the Lord loves He disciplines,
And He punishes every son whom He accepts.”
7 It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
9 Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.
11 For the moment, all discipline seems not to be pleasant, but painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness."

Withdrawing for Their Own Good

When we withdraw from those who reject Christ and us because of Christ, it is for their own good that we withdraw from them.

We cannot be anyone's spirituality for them and our continual presence will not make them change their mind. God has to do things His way far better than we think we can do.

Isaiah 55:7-9
… 7 Let the wicked man forsake his own way and the unrighteous man his own thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that He may have compassion, and to our God, for He will freely pardon. 8“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. 9“ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts."

God has knowledge of every thought and intent of the heart of every human being. He knows exactly what is needed for someone, we do not have this kind of knowledge. To think that we can help God out with our own ideas is arrogance. To think that we are the only ones God can use in someone's life is to have an unwarranted elevated opinion of ourselves.

Romans 11:33
"O, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways!"

Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

1 Corinthians 1:25
"For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength."

What a blessing to be able to let someone go and leave them with God.

The Pretenders and Wolves are Everywhere

I was once told by a "Christian man" that if a husband wants to watch hard porn on cable the wife was obligated to watch it too because the husband wanted it. This wife who was a new believer was counseled by this so-called "Christian" something that would devastate her and would destroy her marriage.
What was strange about this man was that he didn't think about all the implications of watching that filth. The first thing is that those on the screen were committing fornication or adultery if they were married to other people and the very act of the woman's husband watching it was itself adultery against his wife. That was many years ago, to this day that "Christian" never recanted what he told me and worse he judged me as rebellious because I chastised him for his wicked counsel.
May be an image of 1 person
Now that Trump has picked Paula White the majority of the silly sheep that have NO discernment are okay with that.
Paula White told her congregation with children sitting there, that it was okay to watch porn to spice up your marriage bed or sex life.
SERIOUSLY?
I like to have fallen off my bed when I heard Paula tell her congregation that wicked mess about porn on a you tube video in one of her services!
When it comes to Trump, he can do no wrong and the more I realize that the majority of the church has no moral compass!
They have no idea that she is a witch and a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Most of the silly sheep did not have the discernment of spiritual adultery with Paula White and Trump in the white house in his first term.
PLEASE DO NOT DEFEND TRUMP ON THIS POST, BECAUSE I'M NOT BLIND, DEAF AND DUMB when it comes to the end of the age and what is going on with ALL of the DECEPTION THAT JESUS TOLD US NOT TO GET CAUGHT UP IN!!!

Seeking and Developing Genuine Relationshps

Seeking to undo the consequences of sinful actions is not the same as repentance for a changed heart. God can forgive anyone of anything but the consequences of a deeply broken relationship cannot always be mended.
When the betrayal is so deep and so long all trust is removed. This does not mean someone is unforgiving, it just means that the one who repents in word only, likely remains in the same mindset and will re-offend.
The only repentance that changes the heart is one that humbles them over their bad behavior, hates it and wants to be changed by Christ. Any other form of confession of offense comes with an excuse and cannot be trusted.
Any attempts on the part of the offender to "do better next time" is merely manipulation because of the realization of what they have lost. The hope that pretending to be sorry will get back what they lost so they can continue as they always have without conscience is not repentance but it is manipulation.
Conscience demands that an offender is so deeply sorrowful that they do not want to repeat the unkind and rude behavior again. Those who have a conscience desire to make sure the one they offended knows they are sorry and want to mend the relationship.
Unrepentant people don't care about the relationship and will make excuses for or deny what they have done, further damaging any chances of reconciliation. People like this cannot be trusted to change and grow, they remain spiritual and emotional infants fighting to be superior only proving that they cannot develop beyond what they have always been.
Proverbs 24:20-22 "…20 For the evil man has no future; the lamp of the wicked will be extinguished. 21 My son, fear the LORD and the king, and do not associate with the rebellious. 22 For they will bring sudden destruction. Who knows what ruin they can bring?…"
Matthew 7:6
"Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces."
There is a mentality in the modern church that we remain with wicked people just in case they might like how kind we are to them and want Jesus. This is seriously misguided and not based on Scripture.
Christ never remained with those who rejected Him and He called out the hypocrisy of the Pharisees when they acted humanly pias and superior to others.
Matthew 23:27-28
27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 So you too, outwardly appear righteous to people, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness."
The modern church guilts people into remaining with evil people merely so we can influence them. This mentality considers our personal actions more powerful than the Holy Spirit Who must work in people. We are the messengers to speak the truth but the Holy Spirit is the One Who works on people who have heard.
We are not responsible to keep trying over and over and over again when someone is resisting. Moving on from rebellious people is an act of faith. Remaining with them hoping we will be the ones to impact them is lacking the faith to let go and let God.
Remaining with people often is an excuse to persist in codependency out of fear that we will be alone. There is much more Spiritual and emotional growth needed if we cannot walk alone with Christ. When we cannot walk away from those who we thought used to love us when they have proven that they do not love Christ, we are dependent on them more than on Christ.
Psalm 118:8: "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man"
Christ must be first in our lives even if we have to leave behind all those who do not want to walk the narrow way with us.
When someone genuinely shows interest in the things of the Lord, is humble authentically, and demonstrates a desire to learn we can be excited and encouraged to develop that relationship.

The Holy Spirit of Christ Lives in Every Born Again Believer

Remember that accusations from a narcissist are confessions about themselves.
The devil accused God to Eve, he claimed God was withholding something that Eve would benefit from but in reality, it was the devil who was lying to Eve convincing her to be against God.
that nothing bad was going to happen to him, but it was the influence of the devil that worked in
The biggest challenge of the follower of Christ is dealing with people who are influenced and controlled by the devil. The same tactics, accusations and sinful behavior the devil uses will be seen in the person the devil is using.
1 Peter 5:8 "Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour."
When Peter attempted to convince Christ that He was not going to be killed for the sins of the world, Christ rebuked satan while looking at Peter. The devil was influencing Peter to say things that would prevent Christ from doing what He came to do, that is die for the sins of the world.
Matthew 16:21-23 "21 From that time Jesus began to point out to His disciples that it was necessary for Him to go to Jerusalem and to suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and to be killed, and to be raised up on the third day.
22 And yet Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You!”
23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s purposes, but men’s.”"
Peter thought he was doing good by telling Christ nothing bad was going to happen to him, but it was the influence of the devil that worked on Peter's mind. Christ did not address Peter directly, He addressed the devil who was influencing Peter's mind.
We see this all the time in this life but do not recognize it because we cannot see the devil he must be Spiritually discerned. We are surrounded by people who do not know they are being used of the devil to influence those who do not have the Holy Spirit and who have no defenses against the devil.
The devil convinces people they are right or doing a good thing to come against born-again believers. When it doesn't work for them to come against us they will gossip attempting to convince others to be against us too.
The lies are so subtle and convincing that narcissists are able to convince those who lack Biblical discernment that it is all true. Those who are fooled by the devil will band together against those who love Jesus Christ, just as they did with Christ and the apostles and every other martyr who loves Jesus Christ.
None of this should surprise us, but sometimes we are so full of joy that the subtle tactics of those led by the devil catch us off guard and once again we are astonished by what happens to us.
People who have the love of Christ, who are full of empathy and kindness are targets for the narcissist, they see love and kindness as weakness to be exploited or demeaned.
We cannot allow the minions of the devil to intimidate us into silence or provoke us into sinful responses. When we know what the narcissist is doing it is best to remain silent, allowing the Holy Spirit to take control. Saying nothing and walking away is the best strategy for those who are attempting to provoke us.
Staying away from people who hate the truth and love their gossip is the best strategy of all for dealing with evil people.
Notice Christ said; "get away from me Satan." He didn't try to reason with him, or give him another chance to explain himself, he simply rebuked him to get away.
Empathetic people hate hurting others, the very reason they are taken off guard at rudeness or disrespect. We must never return evil for evil when mean people exact their hatred on us, but we are wise to walk away and stay away.
Wicked people will act sorry when they see we have walked away, but the Holy Spirit will show us when it is a ploy to get us back to enable them to continue their attacks, or if it is genuine remorse for their sinful actions. God can tell us, it is wise to wait to hear from God before jumping back into a consistently problematic relationship.
Proverbs 4:13-15, …"13 Hold on to instruction; do not let go. Guard it, for it is your life. 14 Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers. 15 Avoid it; do not travel on it. Turn from it and pass on by."
Psalm 1:1
"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or set foot on the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers."
1 Corinthians 15:33
"Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
Psalm 26:4-5
"I do not sit with deceitful men, nor keep company with hypocrites. / I hate the mob of evildoers, and refuse to sit with the wicked."
Ephesians 5:11
"Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them."
Contrary to cultural beliefs we are not required to keep company with family merely because they are family. When we become born again our new family are those who love Jesus Christ. Many will say they are Christians, but do not follow Christ. These are those who have joined the club but have no interest in following what Christ taught. They do not have the Holy Spirit, over time it will be obvious.
God said we will know them by their fruit. Our Spirit of Christ will not connect with those who are pretenders, but the Spirit of Christ in us will connect instantly with those who also have the Spirit of Christ living in them.
Galatians 5:22-23
"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
