It Matters Who is Doing the Teaching
Kentucky has now signed a bill that allows the Bible to be taught in public schools.
This worries me because there are so many teachers who would teach that God is done with Israel, divorce and remarriage is acceptable to God, that the flood never happened, that no one has a choice in weather or not to trust Christ.
They will probably choose liberals to do the teaching perverting most of what is in God's Word.
Yes, I hope that some children will become saved in spite of what likely will be taught. Its best for parents to teach their own children at home, both their education and the Bible.
Imagine children being taught the Bible by unbelieving teachers while in the next class they learn all about how to change their gender.
I would need a lot more information about who was doing the teaching before getting excited about this new bill that has been passed. Just saying!

Next time someone says to you that we should say things in a way that unbelievers will receive it, just quote God's Word!

When we do good to non-believers who are in rebellion they will interpret your good as bad because that's how they wish to see you.
If they can make you the bad guy then they can ignore your warnings about these end times and the wrath of God to come. They can ignore any attempts to cause them to think about their life and their actions.

Those who hate correction or rebuke will call all your good deeds bad, ignore them and keep going the way God told you to go, they don't have to understand it. Do not allow any man to discourage you from your calling!

The Joys of the Born Again State
When we walk with the Lord every day seems like an adventure! No need for external excitement when the Lord leads us through life.

My Disfunctional Family
This video describes perfectly my disfunctional family structure. My older brother was the perfectionist child, the hero child, who could do no wrong in our parents life. I was the scapegoat child who was treated with contempt about everything. My middle brother was the family clown, always joking, even to the point where he could not have any conversation without a joke emerging. If he was proven wrong in a conversation his response was to make a joke to cover up the fact that he was wrong. The hero brother would rage at anyone who told him he may be wrong about something. The scapegoat, that was me, would feel hurt all the time for demeaning even when there was nothing to demean. I did risky things to have attention from others outside of the family. The impression I was left with my entire life was that everyone else mattered but me. This was the nature of our family, while knowing that God has delivered me from this hate and contempt there is still residue of this that I deal with although far less. Sadly these disfunctional people have had influence on our children who have learned to treat me with the same contempt they saw others demonstrating. I know there are others of you out there who have encountered this, I want you to know there is healing and deliverance from this through Jesus Christ. Follow the link to hear about this!
Prayer Walking A Form of Witchcraft
It is a form of witchcraft. When those who do this walk around a neighborhood to pray for the community. The leaders of this movement counsel their people to not worry about talking to anyone, but just to pray as they walk. We see no model for this in the Word of God demonstrated by the apostles or Jesus Himself.
The idea that our prayers for a community are heard better because we walk the community comes from the Satanist play book on how to cast spells on someone or an entire community.
When a born again believer prays for someone or a community they have no need to physically be in the presence of that person or community. There is no power in our presence as the pagans believe.
There is also the matter of believing merely walking and talking has power over people or areas. I heard one lady once tell me that they prayed over the bridges in their city. My question was "what was that suppose to do", the bridges don't need saving and the power of the spoken word does not land on that structure to cause anyone on it to believe or do anything, and yet this person believed the prayer landed on the bridges and did something magical to everyone who passed over it. This is sorcery.
When God calls us to a community He tells us to bring the gospel, to speak to the people and to pray for them even after we have left the region. Incantations have no value except to bring up demons who love human rituals that divert people from trusting Christ while trusting in the own spoken word or magical spells.
To teach people that their presence without speaking is powerful is not biblical nor is it powerful, it is witchcraft.
Romans 10: 13-15 "…13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14 How then can they call on the One in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach? 15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”…"
The devil is clearly fooling many believers into incorporating his practices into Christianity to divert us from doing what God told us to do and to place our trust in ourselves and ritualistic practices rather than Christ and His Word.
I saw similar concepts frequently in the Catholic church before I left it. There were continual rituals to bring about results asserting that the results were because of the actions not because God did a work.
It is prudent in our day to research every new practice that comes down the lane to make sure it matches with Biblical practices and principles.
