Serving God Where He Places Us!

YES, amen and even after the children are grown we can continue to speak of the Lord, admonish, rebuke and encourage in the ways of the Lord, it is their choice if they listen but we must obey God whether or not they do.

Feelings are not Facts

Feelings are not facts, they are emotional responses to stimuli. Often they are wrong, they tell us things are bad when they are good and they tell us things are good when they are bad. We must ignore our feelings and do what we know to be right in God's eyes.

Jeremiah 17:9
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?"

"For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander."

Proverbs 3:5-7
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil."

The Response of a Cat in Trouble

When you cup your hands around your cat's face and say lovingly, "you little skunk-face" because they were naughty, they think you are complimenting them, they rub and rub in gratitude.

Why can't people be more like cats! LOL
