DON'T REACT TO NARCISSISTS, CUT THEM OFF SILENTLY | Biblical Wisdom | C....

Signs Someone Is Sent By The Devil

Stop Talking Baby Talk to One Another

Stop talking baby talk to your babies. Speak normally and your children will grow up learning how to speak intelligently. O.K. Grannys can do it but not parents!!! LOL
God wants us to grow in maturity and the best way to do it is to obey His Word.
Hebrews 3:13 "13 But exhort one another daily, as long as it is called today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness."
Galatians 6:1-2
"Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
James 5:19-20
"My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, consider this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and cover over a multitude of sins."
Colossians 3:16
"Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God."
1 Corinthians 3:1-3 "1 Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual, but as worldly—as infants in Christ.
2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for solid food. In fact, you are still not ready,
3 for you are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and dissension among you, are you not worldly? Are you not walking in the way of man?…"
Hebrews 5:12-14
"Although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to reteach you the basic principles of God’s word. You need milk, not solid food! For everyone who lives on milk is still an infant, inexperienced in the message of righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained their senses to distinguish good from evil."
1 Peter 2:2
"Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,"

What We Do in His Name

John 14:12-14
"12 Truly, truly I say to you, the one who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I am going to the Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

Christ said that we would do greater works than He did. He rose the dead, healed the sick, and fed the five thousand, what could be greater than these things?

The greater thing is to bring the gospel to the lost. If someone becomes born again they will live forever when their body dies. It is greater than being risen from the dead only to die again. It is greater than healing on this earth, it is an eternity with Christ in paradise never to be sick again. The greater work is the gospel.

We will be given what we ask when it aligns with God's Will. So many take this passage out of context to treat God like a cosmic genie whom we demand things from and He has to give it. This is not the case at all, God will give us what we ask when it is according to His will and the scriptures.

However, if we beg God long enough for the wrong thing out of our willfulness He will give it and then go silent to fend for ourselves in the consequences of our choice.

John 14:12 "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."

May our focus be entirely on the things of God which will bring a totally different perspective than those who are perishing.

When Christ Makes Two People One

When Christ makes two people one in marriage it can not be undone by man. It is a spiritual matter and is the same for the unsaved as it is for the saved. God joins all those who vow to one another in a spiritual union.
No man can break the marriage bond, only death does that.
Matthew 19:6: "What therefore God hath joined together, no man can put asunder" (Yes, I changed the English words because the original language is quite clear that no one can undo a marriage.
1 Corinthians 7:39: "A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives."
1 Corinthians 7:40: "If her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord."
Marriage is not only a commitment for life by those involved, it is a joining of two spirits that divorce cannot separate.
Romans 7:2–3: Paul states that a married woman is bound to her husband by law while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage.
Jesus Christ said this, and I believe Him:
Luke 16:18 “Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another is commiting adultery, and he who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery."
Remarrying after divorce by the law of the land is an ongoing state of adultery until one forsakes that relationship and either remains alone or is reconciled to their husband.
1 Corinthians 7:10-11 "…10 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife."
Which part of this does someone not understand?
One of the devastating actions to damaging the witness of the church is divorce and remarriage. It sends the wrong message that Christ gives up on us because of sin. It makes people believe that Christ would leave us if we were not perfect enough. After all, marriage is a picture of Christ and His church.
Christ is Perfect but the church is not, we bear with one another as we move through life with our flaws helping one another to overcome the arrows of the devil and his minions.
Hebrews 14:4-6 "4 Marriage should be honored by all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. 5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said: “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.” 6 So we say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”…"
If anyone comes to you to influence you against your husband or your husband against you they must be removed, avoid them so that they cannot meddle in your marriage. I have seen more marriages ruined by family interference than any other problem.
Loving godly people will want to see us succeed in our marriage according to God's standards. I would advise anyone who keeps company with those who indorse divorce and remarriage to sever that relationship, it can influence you or your spouse when things get rough.
Deuteronomy 31:6
"Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or terrified of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”
God never leaves or forsakes us because of sin and we should never leave or forsake our spouse because of sin.
Psalm 37:25
"I once was young and now am old, yet never have I seen the righteous abandoned or their children begging for bread."
We cannot stop a spouse from leaving but we can remain faithful to the marriage even if they are not.
Psalm 118:6
"The LORD is on my side; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
Matthew 28:20
"and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Romans 8:31
"What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
We will lose friends and family for speaking the truth, it is how we find out who loves Christ and who does not. Those who choose Christ and love His Word are our brothers and sisters for eternity, they are our friends.
Hallelujah!!!

Humility is Easily Discerned by those who Love Christ

The best way to learn about the heart of someone is to speak the truth and watch what comes out of them.

If we ignore the Holy Spirit He will go silent and allow us the consequences of our willfulness. 1 Thessalonians 5:19-22

Narcissists are awfully proud of their humility, their view of themselves is flawed.

Narcissists often mistake humility as weakness, but it is just the opposite!
