I am struck with awe at how many lies and deceptions are now entering the church.
Matthew 24:24 "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will provide great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect."
Those who have been driven to politics while pushing out truth have been worshiping their freedom, they are willing to fight with believers over politics while never speaking the name of Jesus Christ to their brothers and sisters.
Self-esteem being taught as an important lesson for children.
I cannot tell count the number of times "Christians" defended the teaching of self-esteem in my presence. They had no idea what this teaching would bring to our culture, until now after the damage is done and the children are grown and selfish, as described in 2 Timothy 3:1-5

3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
The holidays and the observance mixed with paganism. Nowhere in the Word of God are we commanded to celebrate these holidays and yet those who defend them bitterly will be the same ones who ignore the Lord's supper. They are following the world in the holidays as well as following the world to ignore the very observance Christ gave to us and commanded us to do it every time we come together. 1 Corinthians 11
Divorce and remarriage are accepted by most people who say they are Christian.
Mark 10:11
"And he said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her,"
The false teaching of the Nephilim which was not spiritual offspring of devils. The word means giant men of valor. They were large and fierce but not spiritually conceived.
Genesis 1:24
"And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so."
The belief is that one cannot be a Christian unless they have a pastor and a building.
Titus 1:5-9
"For this reason I left you in Crete, that you would set in order what remains and appoint elders in every city as I directed you, namely if any man is above reproach, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, not accused of dissipation or rebellion. For the overseer must be above reproach as God’s steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain, but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict."
The placing biological family above God in all things.
Luke 14:26 "
“If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple."
The matter of tithing is nowhere taught in the Bible as a command of God for the church.
2 Corinthians 9:7 "7Each one should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not out of regret or compulsion. For God loves a cheerful giver."
Calvinism is being followed instead of Christ. The division of believers through denominationalism.
1 Corinthians 3:3-5 "…3 for you are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and dissension among you, are you not worldly? Are you not walking in the way of man? 4 For when one of you says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere men? 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role.…"
The drive in our country to shame anyone who is not politically involved or who is spending more time looking up than working for candidates.
Matthew 6:33
"33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
We do not seek the government or the pastors for our training and sustenance, we seek Christ in all these things. We can obey the government but when we make it more important than serving Christ it becomes our god.
Daniel 2:21
"21 He changes times and seasons;
he removes kings and sets up kings;
he gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to those who have understanding;"
Romans 8:28
"28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."
You see that most of the things that we practice in the churches are not biblical and God never gave commands to obey them. Christ gave us all we need in His Word we have no need to add things to His Word.
Family, politics, pastoral rules, congregational pressure to fit into the gathering man's way and much more have taken believers away from the gospel and made them in bondage to rules and standards God never gave.
Matthew 6:33
"33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you."
If each person would ask God to show them all that is not the truth that they have been taught all their lives and be willing to turn their back on all humanistic teaching their eyes would become wide open and the draw to follow these things would dissipate like fog in the sunlight as they realize how useless and even damaging these things have been to believers.
Bottom line: Just ask God, that's all, it's not hard.
