Hypocrisy Reigns in the World
Hypocrisy is a huge part of our culture. I corrected my "Christian" brother for his bad attitude and my mother told me it was wrong of me to correct others as she was correcting me. Many people don't even realize their own hypocrisy. LOL
I don't worry what to say, I leave it to the Holy Spirit, say what He tells me and the reaction of the hearer is on them not me.
The only reason offenders become angry when we correct them is because they refuse to take a good look at their own stuff. They refuse to be chastised because they know they are wrong but want to believe they are nothing less than perfect.
We all have to face our own flaws in order to grow in holiness. We cannot move forward without first admitting the truth about ourselves.
Stubborn people who have high opinions of themselves never learn, they remain spiritual and emotional infants.
Proverbs 23:9
"Do not speak in the hearing of a fool,
For he will despise the wisdom of your words."
Proverbs 13:20
"He who walks with wise men will be wise,
But the companion of fools will suffer harm."
Proverbs 18:2
"A fool does not delight in understanding,
But only in revealing his own mind."
Proverbs 12:23
"A prudent man conceals knowledge,
But the heart of fools proclaims folly."
Proverbs 29:11
"A fool always loses his temper,
But a wise man holds it back."

Sometimes people will call you selfish because you won't do what they want. Follow Christ anyway!
