Growing Apostasy in these End Times
The world is becoming very wicked in every venue all the time now.
In the days of Noah, the people grew so wicked that there were no thoughts of goodness left on the earth. We are living in times like this right now. Even in the churches the thrust is placed upon the happiness, personal desires and feeling and not on Christ.
Why do so many Christians think we are going to save America when it is so wicked? Its because they are worldly focused, they do not know they have melded quite fully into the world's system, unwilling to give up the traditions that fed their flesh.
In these last days, the only "religion" left is made up in each person's mind. They do not read the Bible for truth, they will not listen to correction when admonished to evaluate their belief according to Scripture and they hold on tightly to what they love that dishonors God. They do this to be acceptable to family and friends. In other words, they love their friends and family more than they love God.
Genesis 6:5 "5 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time. "
Matthew 24:37-39
37 For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.
38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be."
If this is you, you must repent, go back to your first love, that is Jesus Christ, leaving behind everything that is against God. Ask God to show you what you might believe that defies His Word. You must do this because our own fleshly figuring and justification will try to keep you from learning truth.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
“Difficult Times Will Come”
3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."
Notice verse 5 "holding to a form of godliness, but denying God."
This is a sobering thought that this mentality is not only in the world but in the church too.
