Psychology has Destroyed the Witness of the Believers

Have you ever wondered why the world culture is becoming worse and not better? The reason is that mankind is basing their beliefs on psychology and not the principles of the Bible.

Many people think silly things like; "hurt people hurt people." This is not Biblical. Many people who have been coddled and pampered hurt those who have not harmed them just of feel superior.

Lots of hurt people do not harm others because they didn't like the way they were treated. Why did psychology focus on the ones who hurt others and not on the ones who were harmed but don't hurt others?

The whole matter of psychology is based on people being considered just another species of animal. We are not animals and we do not operate out of instinct as animals. do.

The false premise that if we are treated well we will treat others well does not prove to be true in a human society.

God said that the heart of man is desperately wicked without remedy. Jermiah 17:9

Many people are mean and rude for no other reason than to feel special and superior. They love to bring others down to elevate themselves. They love to boast to make others feel smaller, even if their boast is not reality, as long as they can "sound" better they are satisfied with themselves.

God tells us that in the last days we will see this wicked heart of man emerge worse as we near the end of the church age.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

Difficult Times Will Come

3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.

2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,

3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,

4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

5 holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these."

What has happened in the last few generations to the devil's delight is the culture has called good bad and bad good. The culture ultimately coddles and pampers the perpetrators of evil hoping they will "feel better" while chastising and pressuring the victims to forgive, merely to relieve the pressure of the pain of the perpetrator. This is opposite of what God said to do.

God never said to forgive the unrepentant, He said to avoid them. He never said to coddle them so they feel better, He said to punish them or remove them so they will see the sinfulness of their ways.

Psychology has permeated our culture so completely that most people are being pressured to forgive and just "let go" of the problem to avoid "feeling bad" causing evil to grow exponentially out of control.

I want to ask, "what is all that friendliness toward wicked people working out for you." After all things are not getting better they are growing worse and demonically influenced.

We are to forgive as God forgave, that is when there is repentance. We do not have license to treat disrespectfully those who treat us badly but we also are not forgiving to reconcile the relationship. For a reconciliation to happen both confession of sin and forgiveness must be present.

Matthew 3:2

"And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Matthew 4:17

"From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Jesus Christ never forgave those who were not repentant. To reconcile to God one must repent to be forgiven by Him.

Because of this false teaching that we should forgive for our own sake people are not thinking they are forgiven even if they are never sorry for their sin.

Because of the erroneous belief that people hurt people because they are hurting we have ruined justice and elevated injustice. Satan is delighted that believers are propagating the opposite of what God said causing evil to grow worse.

Ecclesiastes 8:11-12 " 11 When the sentence for a crime is not speedily executed, the hearts of men become fully set on doing evil. 12 Although a sinner does evil a hundred times and still lives long, yet I also know that it will go well with those who fear God, who are reverent in His presence.…"

The principles of the Old Testament have not been removed, because we are living under grace now as believers we are under the control of the Holy Spirit Who judges sin and executes justice. Anyone who says its alright ot sin now because we are under grace is repeating the lies of the devil to destroy our witness that Christ changes us into a new creation who love His Law and love His principles. We hate sin as God hates it.

Those who want to be friends with the world using psychology as their source for wisdom cannot be servants of Christ.

1 John 2:15-17

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world."

Operating on psychology is the love of the worldly wisdom that brings destruction as we have seen happen in the last few generations within the church. The witness for holiness and delight in God's principles is nearly entirely gone.

May those who are authentically born-again return to the principles of God without the taint of psychology and Darwinism.
