One cannot be born again and believe there is no hell. If someone comes bringing this false doctrine of no hell, they are not of God, reject them and move on.
We are meeting more people now who are not believing God's word claiming all kinds of things about God that are not true. They bring their own human thinking into a discussion claiming it's from God. We must not allow these people to have a forum.
Romans 16:17-18
"I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive."
Rejecting the cultural Christianity I grew up with to embrace and enjoy a relationship with Jesus Christ. A place to come and share thoughts about almost anything. Especially things of the Lord. Please no Anonymous posts, I enjoy knowing who is writing to me.

In the Tribulation Coming Soon!
In case you are not sure that demons are active in our day, take a look at what will happen in the tribulation, which is coming up soon.
Revelation 9:9-11 "
…9 They also had thoraxes like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the roar of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10 They had tails with stingers like scorpions, which had the power to injure people for five months. 11 They were ruled by a king, the angel of the Abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek it is Apollyon.…"

Maintaining Integrity in a Wicked World
The devil is the one who manipulates feelings. His lie is that feelings are all important. The very thing psychology has been teaching since the 1970's.
The more you rely on feelings to guide you the less wise you will become. Feelings change quickly and often are inaccurate.
People engaged in adultery "feel" very happy and good in the middle of it, causing them to ignore the sad consequences.
There is an adrenaline rush for those plotting to rob a store but the end consequences are a life of hiding, running, arrest and even jail, greater confinement than they would have had if they had just obeyed the law.
Feelings cause normally righteous people to be tempted lash out at someone who hurt them. God wants righteous people to depend on the truth while ignoring their feelings that come from the flesh.
Feelings are there inside of us, they mess with our minds to cause us to engage in bad behavior when self-control would defuse a problem.
The Fruit of the Spirit is in those who walk with Christ. We need not react to the bad behavior of others. We can have the fruit of Christ's character that restrains the flesh.
Galatians 5:22-23 "22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
When we walk away from someone who wants to fight we maintain our composure, our integrity and leave the blame only on the fighter. Those who exercise self-control in the face of trials grow in strength and remain blameless.
The trouble maker carries his own blame all by himself when we do not respond to him.
God said this for a reason:
Luke 6:27-28 "27 But to those of you who will listen, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."
Christ died for us while we were still sinners, this is His model for our relationship with our enemies. We do not have to make them our close friends but we can model what Christ did, that is to die to self for the sake of demonstrating His character in front of others.
Ezekiel 18:20-21 " 20 The soul who sins is the one who will die. A son will not bear the iniquity of the father, and a father will not bear the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will fall upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked man will fall upon him. "
When we have to be in the company of wicked people we can maintain our integrity and leave when the chance arises.

Tongues is for the Unbeliever and an Earthly Language
Speaking in tongues was for a particular purpose at a particular time. Notice too that one man spoke in his own language and the others heard in theirs. There wasn't a crowd all speaking in tongues.
The "tongues" in the modern church are not tongues. The typical mentality of tongue-speaking churches is to blabber with baby sounds and call them tongues.
There was a pastors wife in a Pentecostal church who tried to tell me all we do is open our mouth making sounds and this was tongues. This is total nonsense, one would never instruct someone how to speak in tongues if in fact, they did actually exist anymore.
The tongue-speaking we hear of today is a classic example of removing a small passage from its context in the Bible and building an entire doctrine around it.
God gave specific instructions for any tongues in a church gathering during a time when the people in the church often spoke different languages. When the people of the church all speak the same language there is no need for tongues.
When there was a gathering in the new testament church back in the day, there was required an interpreter.
Babbling that is not an earthly language is not tongues of the Bible. If someone pretends to interpret this it is nothing more than playacting.
I once heard someone in a Pentecostal church get up and babble and other person got up and interpreted. The babbling was interpreted as "God loves you." This was down right silly since everyone in the church spoke the same language and they all had their Bibles that told us that, there was no need for a tongue.
1 Corinthians 13:20-23
"20 Brethren, be not children in mind: yet in malice be ye babes, but in mind be men.
21 In the law it is written, By men of strange tongues and by the lips of strangers will I speak unto this people; and not even thus will they hear me, saith the Lord.
22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to the unbelieving: but prophesying is for a sign, not to the unbelieving, but to them that believe.
23 If therefore the whole church be assembled together and all speak with tongues and there come in men unlearned or unbelieving, will they not say that ye are mad?
24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one unbelieving or unlearned, he is reproved by all, he is judged by all;
25 the secrets of his heart are made manifest; and so he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is among you indeed.
26 What is it then, brethren? When ye come together, each one hath a psalm, hath a teaching, hath a revelation, hath a tongue, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
27 If any man speaketh in a tongue, let it be by two, or at the most three, and that in turn; and let one interpret:
28 but if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
29 And let the prophets speak by two or three, and let the others discern.
30 But if a revelation be made to another sitting by, let the first keep silent.
31 For ye, all can prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be exhorted;
32 and the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets;
33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace."
Prophesying was not telling the future, it was expounding on the Word of God. The purpose of tongues was to reach those who did not speak the same language, there must be interpreters for those who didn't speak the same language.
Notice that verse 22, "22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, NOT TO THEM THAT BELIEVE, but to the unbelieving: but prophesying is for a sign, not to the unbelieving, but to them, that believe."
Summary: Tongues are an earthly language speaking to unbelievers who do not speak the same language as the one sharing the gospel. There must be interpreters, more than one and the one who wants to speak in a tongue must remain silent when others are speaking.
The chaos in Pentecostal churches today of blabbering without interpreters where everyone speaks the same language is not biblical and an offense to God.

Worship God's Way
We are to worship in Spirit and in truth. Christ helps us pray and worship, translating what we say to the Father because only He knows how we should pray.
Romans 8:25-27 "…25 But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently. 26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words. 27 And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.…"
John 4:23-24 "…23 But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

A Country that Rejects Christ
Have you wondered why our country is under attack? It's simple, the country as a whole has rejected Christ. Even those who say they are Christians refuse to use God's Word as their measure of truth.
Christians fight with one another over silly things while rejecting the Bible as the will of God. They rarely speak of the Holy Spirit and when they do it a "name it and claim it" mentality of using Him for their own desires.
Most professing Christians in this country are superficial at best and defiant at worst. Many are defiant against the word of God while claiming they believe it.
1 Thessalonians 2:13 "13, For this reason, we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it NOT as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe.'"
Hebrews 11:6
"And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him."
James 1:5-6
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind."

Higher Divorce Among Evangelicals
Evangelicals have a higher than average divorce rate than other denominations and religions. This is shameful and evidence that this group does not follow the Bible they claim to believe.
Believing means following, if someone does not search the scripture to discover God's will then he is lying when he says he believes the Bible.
When the culture is the measure of truth then there is no desire for the Bible, only an appearance to satisfy a churchy group.
In order to know truth from the Bible one must pray for understanding from the Holy Spirit, otherwise, a dishonest person will seek scriptures out of context to fit what they want to believe rather than what God meant.
When you are confronted with a disagreement concerning the Bible is your first thought to go to prayer and searching scripture to find God's meaning? Most people do not do this, we know it because they hold onto unbiblical stances even becoming angry at the challenge to test them with scripture.
In the cultural Christianity I grew up with it was common for people not to understand basic Biblical truth. When asked if they were a Christian they would tell you which church they attend. They didn't even know what it meant to be a Christian.
This same cultural Christianity changed their belief system over the years to match pitch with the culture around them first, then quoted scripture out of context to allow themselves to be comfortable with their false understandings.
This is why I call it "cultural Christianity" and have rejected it.
As some of you have experienced I too have been more rejected by cultural Christians than by unbelievers. Since the unbelievers have no information about the Bible they just listen when I speak to them but the cultural Christians will argue their false point as though it is in the Bible and refuse to listen to the Bible when I quote it.
The cultural Christian has been more likely to fight, demean, and rejected as well as begin character assassination when the other things do not work. By "work" I mean they didn't see me apologizing for telling the truth or backing down. Then is when the maligning of my person begins.
We live in a culture now that says they know God but they do not. Knowing God is not merely knowing about Him as they think. Knowing God is knowing His heart from scripture and the Holy Spirit Who lives in born again believers. Our desire to know God is to desire to know His will for us, His love for truth while seeking it in the word, not to justify what we want to believe but to obey what He actually said.
Matthew 22:36-38 "…36 “Teacher, which commandment is the greatest in the Law?” 37 Jesus declared, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.…"
