The Speech!

Pelosi was ripping up the president's speech. Pelosi is a cold-hearted demonized liberal. All the other liberals in the room had that stone-face that narcissists often have when they think someone they hate is being successful at something.

We have all met this kind of person, they cannot stand someone else they despise to have a good idea or accomplish something without them. Having said this I must say what most people do not want to hear, asking the question, "What is the real need of America."

One thing I did not hear in the speech tonight was the need for America to repent. If making America great again means a good economy, a religiosity without Christ and the freedom to sin as much as we like, then we are there already, but it will lead most people to hell.

I am glad the President is making some strides toward limiting to hopefully eventual banning of abortion. I am glad to see there are strides being made in outlawing illegal aliens and human trafficking. These are all evil things, however stopping all these things might bring America back to some semblance of morality, but it will not save souls and it will not keep people out of hell.

There is a technique that looms large among manipulators, that is to prey on one's emotions so deeply that our judgment is off when we cannot question what was said or in this case what was left out, our emotions run too high to see the deepest needs, that is one of repentance toward God and changed hearts.

We can fix the economy, save the babies, stop the traffickers and reduce the illegal aliens from entering our country, but what we really need is for America to become born again according to the bible.

There was a time in our country when we already had strong laws against the things mentioned in the president's address and the country still remained "religious", that is following rules and a standard but not born again. Most people didn't read the Bible that was in their home, they didn't seek the Word of God for their principles to live by and they didn't even know how to pray except when they were in trouble.

Many people in my youth only went to a church gathering on the holidays because that made the holidays seem validated by God not realizing they were not.

We have been a religious country with conservative bents over the years but we have not been godly. Even in homes where people went to a church gathering every week, there was no mention of Him in the home outside the church building. Most people didn't speak of God even in the church, they merely sat and listened, smiled big smiles, said hello to others as they left and counted that as being "religious." Sadly it was religious but it was not spiritual or dedicated to Christ. It was appearances and traditions driven not Holy Spirit-controlled.

2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears, they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.…"

The problem has not been lack of religion in our country, the problem has been the expression of religion rather than a relationship with Christ. Outward rituals that were meaningless to God, even angering Him.

Mark 7:13 "13Thus you nullify the word of God by the tradition you have handed down. And you do so in many such matters.”"

America still needs to repent and trust in Christ!!!!

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit

It is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit when we ascribe to the Holy Spirit works that are not works of the Holy Spirit.

They are all being Exposed!

All the famous preachers are being exposed. If you have ever wondered how people become popular, it might be that they are compromising or lying to gain their popularity. Almost everyone who have been well-loved by many thousands of people is being exposed as frauds and liars. These truly are the last days of great deception.

Please do not follow a man because they sound intellectual or educated. Weigh their words by the Word of God and discern their spirit to see if they are of God. The Holy Spirit can give you wisdom in this.

Those who are of God will not be popular, nor will they seek out those who can elevate themselves in some way.

Luke 6:25-26 "…25 Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep. 26 Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for their fathers treated the false prophets in the same way. "

Spending the Time Wisely

The time is very short, Christ will be in the clouds soon to remove His church. Spend these last days wisely serving Him.

Help Me Understand

I do not understand, perhaps someone here can help me understand?

How can so many people who say they are Christians have nothing about Him on their Facebook page? Their closest friends are unbelievers and their activities are continually worldly. I don't understand!

If Christ is our life, then everything we do ought to reflect things about Him.

Is it possible to deny Christ merely by not speaking about Him? Hiding what we are to be acceptable to the world seems like denial to me!

Matthew 10:33-34 "32Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father in heaven. 33But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven. 34Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.…"

I understand that some believers are new in the faith and a little intimidated by the possibility of rejection, I get that, I was there once too!

I see this medium, the internet as the last means by which God will encourage the downcast believers who are living in a terrible world surrounded by wickedness all the time, as well as teaching from God's word and even evangelizing the lost right before He comes to take His church out.

I don't understand a lot of things but I do understand the drivenness God has given some born again believers in these last days to speak the truths of God before there is no longer an opportunity.

Not everyone spends time on Facebook, they may be doing other things. It is a question on my mind for those who do spend a lot of time on Facebook and yet nothing about God is written.

There are pictures of family, pictures of outings, funny quips and sayings not from the Bible and lots of joking and fun continually on the part of those who say they are "Christians."

I do not understand because I personally feel driven to continue in this venue until Christ takes me out or the internet banishes me. I know not everyone is on Facebook, but for those who are, perhaps the time would be better spent speaking of the Lord as the time is short.

Just a suggestion to pray about!

Follow Jesus Christ not Man

Calvin was a Catholic who left the church only to take his Catholicism with him as well as adding his own interpretations. Trusting in him is the same as trusting in the devil.

Jeremiah 17:5
"Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord."

If you quote Calvin more than the Bible then you have a false god. Not only was Calvin trusting in his Catholic rituals, even though he would say he did not, but he was also constantly twisting scripture to make it fit his doctrines of devils.

When the first thing out of a Christian's mouth is something that Calvin said, you can be sure they are trusting Him instead of Christ.

Also following Calvin is a direct violation of the following scripture;

1 Corinthians 1:11-13 "…11 My brothers, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. 12 What I mean is this: Individuals among you are saying, “I follow Paul,” “I follow Apollos,” “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.” 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul?…"

1 John 2:19

"19 They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us."
